Anchovy City is a city that has been mentioned and seen in several spin-offs that appears to be futuristic. Not much is known about it.

- In the ADWSS episode "Aerodynamic Duo", SpongeBob says "Wow, Patrick, I can't believe it! We're going on a plane trip to Anchovie City!" This marks the first use of Anchovy City, although it is not seen because towards the end of the episode the plane crashes in the middle of the ocean, and the city's name is spelled as "Anchovie" rather than "Anchovy".
- In the movie, "The SpongeToons Movie", Anchovy City is visited, which lives up to its futuristic theme. The video game based off the movie shows it to be even more futuristic, and in the video game is located near Rock Bottom, which means the location of it is inconsistent because in ADWSS, the plane route went over an ocean to get to it, which would otherwise be nonsensical for a plane route.
- In SpongeToons, the fourth season was to have an episode in which they would return to Anchovy City, but this was never aired due to the cancellation of Season 4 that happened right after the first episode aired.
