Axol Jr. is Melony's pet axolotl. In SMG4: If Mario Was In... Nickelodeon it shows its origins as being a gift from Mario, but in SMG4: All I Want For Christmas Is Mario To FREAKIN BEHAVE it shows it being bought by Melony.
Personality[]
Axol Jr. is best known as a shy, quiet but loving pet, he was named after Axol and wears the name with honor, he loves Melony with her his heart and is shown to be fragile, especially around Mario, despite only being two. he's shown to be calm and caring towards Melony. Axol Jr. also loves playing games like UNO.

- A different Axolotl appears in SMG4 Christmas 2019: Mario Alone where Mario tried to use him as a replacement for Axol while the gang was on vacation. The difference between that Axolotl and this Axolotl is that Axolotl was fully yellow.
- Axol Jr. is supposed to be a "replacement" for Axol.
- Prior to its name revelation in SMG4: All I Want For Christmas Is Mario To FREAKIN BEHAVE, it has been given the name "Axol Jr." by fans until it became true when the episode is released.
- This makes him the first character in which a name given by the fans became official.
- Like his predecessor, Axol Jr. is shown to be capable on land, which typical axolotls cannot live out of the water and spend most of their lives in water.
- In SMG4: If Mario Was In... Nickelodeon, Mario is shown to be the one giving Melony Axol Jr., yet in SMG4: All I Want For Christmas Is Mario To FREAKIN BEHAVE, Melony is shown to get Axol Jr. herself by adopting him from a pet store officially retconning the earliest iteration.
