Aziz Yousi is a recurring character in Sunset Paradise and a minor character in the SMG4 series. He is a grumpy Arab ice cream vendor working in Port Aurora.
He made his SMG4 debut in SMG4: Mario Gets Lit.
He is voiced by James Bailey, the voice actor for SMG3.
Appearance[]
Aziz Yousi wears a white t-shirt over a sleeveless yellow overcoat. He wears blue pants and flips-flops. Aziz also wears a conical hat with yellow at the edges of the conica and a sprout at the top of the hat.
Personality[]
He pretends that he is happy with his customers, but in fact he is very unhappy to serve customers and instead, rather unenthusiastic and grumpy.
He is rather rude, since he insults Meggy Spletzer under his breath due to her being a "ginger", and remarked that she is "ugly". He also tends to con other people, as he overprices the ice cream to 12 tullies. According to a Reddit AMA, 12 tullies is equal to 60 US dollars, which is outrageous. Despite this, he does express gratitude towards Meggy for saving him from the Goonies and apologized for being apart of the mob that wanted her and Auri Bori dead and for being rude to them.
Trivia[]
- According to the opening advertisement in SMG4: SMG4 Goes Insane, he has a cousin named Joe, who he is not on good terms with. It is unknown if this is canon.
- His distribution and handling of his merchandise is depicted as being questionable to say the least, such as claiming his ice cream 'kills 99% of bacteria' and not bothering to replace ice cream that had previously fallen on the floor during his run in with the Goonies, which suggest he is rather lax about health codes.
- He is currently the only character outside of Meggy and Auri to appear in every episode of Sunset Paradise. With the exception for Episode 9, which he lampshades in the opening advertisement.
- His ice cream flavours may include bananas, squid ink, hygiene products, tree branches, flammable material, street litter and nails.
- He is the first character debuting from a GLITCH show to canonically and physically appear in an SMG4 episode. Tari and Belle do not count as their Meta Runner incarnations are set in an alternate universe and N's appearance is non canon.
