Plot[]

Demeter asks Triton for a copy of his mortal diseases cure formulas. Demeter says she needs them, so Triton copies them. Demeter uses them on Plantzilla, her favourite plant that is dying from a plant disease. But suddenly, it grew into an evil monster and broke out of her home. It attacked Bikini Bottom and turned Demeter's flowers into plant monsters also! SpongeBob quickly used the Golden Spatula to defeat them, but they grow back everytime you cut them! Triton then learned that the plants depend on the source of Plantzilla's roots, so he used his trident to electrocute the roots, destroying Plantzilla and the other plants. Neptune came and was angry that Triton used his cure after he forbade him to, but forgave him after Demeter confesses that she was responsible for it. Just then, Plantzilla and the flowers grew back into their normal selves. Demeter realized that the real cure for Plantzilla's disease was electricity! Triton said to SpongeBob with his hand out, Put it there, pal! and SpongeBob shakes it, only to be electrocuted, ending the episode.

Trivia[]

  • This episode is inspired by Undergrowth, an evil plant monster from Danny Phantom that wanted revenge on humans for destroying nature.
  • This is one of the episodes where SpongeBob doesn't appear as the main character.
