He is a purple dinosaur that has his own show called Barney and Friends by PBS Kids and HIT Entertainment.
In SMG4 series, he has made various cameos. He most notable appearance was in SMG4: Stupid Mario Odyssey 2, where Mario use Cappy to possess him to fight Bowser, who possessed a T-Rex. Also, another person from SMG4: If Mario was in... Deltarune was mistaken by Mario to be Barney.
