Bernard Wilson II, known by his simplified name Bernie, is a political having a seat in the National Assembly of the Pacific Ocean, taking one of the two seats for Bikini Bottom, the other seated by Hillary Puff. He is also the uncle of Gary and Patrick. He is a member of the Logic Party.

He is famous for his stance with the lower classes of the republic, to the point where people within his own party call him a "communist". He demands that jobs are not to be imported to other countries, as well as the higher classes pay more taxes. He supports a minimum wage of $15 (Bikini Bottom Dollars, 2016), the imprisonment of Eugene Krabs for violating workers' regulations, and the overturning the ultra-fiscal group "Fish United".
