Birdo is a creature of a dinosaur-type species that first appeared in the video game Super Mario Bros. 2.

In the actual Mario games, one specific Birdo is transgender and/or Yoshi's partner.

History[]

A Birdo makes a small appearance in SM64: Cooking with Bowser & Mario 2! as one of the customers at the rivals' new restaurant. In it, Birdo is just a quick cameo who sits at one of the tables.

She also reappears in the blooper SM64 Tales: Thwompin' and Whompin' as a sprite from SMB2.

A Birdo appears in R64: An Overdose of Dr. Mario as Mario's replacement nurse but soon replaced by Toad Barrage after she was killed as well.

Many appear in SMG4: The Melancholy of Fishy Boopkins at Bob Bobowski's concert.

Another individual Birdo named Butter Birdo makes her first appearance in SMG4 Movie: 10 Year Anniversary Special as she dances over butter as she claims she put a bag of jelly beans inside her ass, much to everyone's disgust, except Bob. The same Birdo would later make a more notable appearance in SMG4: Into the Dark Web.
