==Personality==
Even though Black Sponge is a rough and tough ninja, he is also very passionate. He's very kind and giving, but when someone gets on his nerves, he's always free to do a quick ninja move on them. He feels more free as Black Sponge as Leader Plankton does not know who he is and he has no power as Prisoner SpongeBob.
==Trivia==
*Leader Plankton has found out about Prisoner SpongeBob being the Black Sponge two times, but his mind was later erased.
*Though very obvious, nobody can recognize Black Sponge as being Prisoner SpongeBob.
*In the first two seasons, Black Sponge would make his seasonal debut during the seventh episode. During the last two seasons, he made his debut during the season premiere.
*During the first two seasons, he was a recurring character. In the last two seasons, he becomes more of a main character, appearing in over half of the seasons' episodes.
