History[]
SpongeBob bought him at a grocery store in the episode Christmas & 3016. And to SpongeBob's surprise, he talked! But as it turns out, buying Blender was one of the Keys to opening time travel, this was revealed in the two part episode Time Travel Game (Part 1) and Time Travel Game (Part 2). Blender also went to college as revealed in GhostTron.
