Crossover Time is an American adult computer-animated science fantasy machinima situation comedy web series created by AliseSpace06, appearing on the Crossover Time YouTube channel.
The series is a parody of many show franchises and many cultural references, particularly of Cartoon Network's OK K.O.! franchise. Its first episode, "Let's Work Together", aired on May 7, 1989. Though the show was created in United States, the content itself targets primarily to American audiences. As with most SM64 machinimists, it first started off as dialog-based series that inserted captions over Super Mario 64 game-play. Later, Garry's Mod was introduced in the middle of the first season, and the series made a full transition to it in the seventh season. The series gained a cult following due to its abundance of memes, parodies, and its surreal and dark humour, akin to other adult animated series such as SpongeBob SquarePants or The Simpsons.
It currently has 603 episodes, 8 long 30-50 minute movies, and two spin-off shows.

Characters[]
Protagonists[]
- Maddie Turner: The titular protagonist of the series. A 6-11 year old American girl from New York City works as an employee at Gar's Bodega and a new exchange student at New York City Junior High School. Maddie loves all things fantasy and magical, wanting to become a super mode even before receiving training.
- Kaio Kincaid: One of the main protagonists of the series. He’s also the main protagonist of the OK K.O.! franchise. He is Carol's son and the newest employee at Gar's Bodega, which is located in Lakewood Plaza.
- Sprig Plantar: One of the two deuteragonists of the series. He’s also the deuteragonist of the Amphibia series. A pink poison dart frog and Anne's best friend. He is adventurous and energetic, qualities which can get him into adventure and trouble.
- Tint Tormak: A spotted salamander and Dyllan's best friend.
- Finn Mertens: A human boy who loves nothing more than going on adventures and saving the day. He wears a hat that covers his extremely long flowing yellow hair. He is prone to exclamations and outbursts such as "Mathematical!" and "Algebraic!" When Finn was a baby, he was abandoned and subsequently adopted by Jake's parents, Joshua and Margaret, as detailed in "Memories of Boom Boom Mountain".
- Jake the Dog: Finn's best friend and adoptive brother. He is a 28-year-old—in "magical dog years"—shapeshifting bulldog. The episode "Joshua & Margaret Investigations" reveals that when Joshua and Margaret—Finn and Jake's parents—were on an investigation, Joshua was bitten by a shape-shifting, other-worldly entity. Joshua, infected by the creature's venom, subsequently birthed Jake from his head.
- Hitmontop - TBA
- Star Butterfly: A magical princess from the dimension of Mewni. On her 14th birthday, she is given the family heirloom - the royal magic wand - but after she causes a big accident, she is sent to the Earth dimension as a foreign exchange student. She then lives with the Diaz family. She enjoys exploring and being away from her parents and their pressure to make her into a perfect princess.
- Marco Diaz: Star's best human friend, later becoming her boyfriend. Prior to meeting Star, he was known as a safe kid. He is of mixed Caucasian and Hispanic descent, and typically wears a red hoodie, having said that he owns a dozen of them. He helps Star during their fights against the villains using mostly martial arts moves from training in a karate dojo.
- Dipper Pines: The 12-year-old twin brother of Mabel, who was born 5 minutes after her. He possesses Journal 3, which he discovered in the woods and has helped him solve the mysteries of Gravity Falls. As an adventurer, Dipper has trouble sitting still and is always looking for riddles to solve, leaving him restless in mundane situations. His attention to detail seems helpful when solving mysteries, but others question his credibility. He is considered wise beyond his years and cannot wait to grow up and become a man. He is portrayed as goal-oriented and rooted in facts, and sometimes overthinks possible scenarios and obsessively makes lists, which also makes him more perceptive of the danger Gravity Falls faces.
- Steven Universe: The youngest and only male member of the Crystal Gems. His characterization is loosely inspired by series creator Rebecca Sugar's younger brother Steven Sugar, a background artist for the show. His portrayal as a male character whose heroism is based on traditionally feminine attributes such as empathy and nurturing, and who seeks to live up to the legacy of his heroic mother, has drawn favorable reaction from critics.
- Mabel Pines: The 12-year-old twin sister of Dipper, who was born 5 minutes before him. She is eccentric, energetic, and optimistic, and expresses herself through various colorful knitted sweaters, as well as her skills in arts and crafts. Her outgoing, curious personality often helps Dipper solve mysteries, though her silliness is often seen as a burden. Mabel enjoys preteen novels and seeks romance, as she once went on a date with Li'l Gideon, but broke it off after realizing he is dangerous and nearly killed Dipper. In the episode "Irrational Treasure", she is made an official U.S. congresswoman by the eighth-and-a-half president, Quentin Trembley, with a political platform of "legalize everything". She wins a pet pig in the episode "The Time Traveler's Pig" and names him Waddles.
- Connie Maheswaran: Steven's best friend. Introduced as an intelligent yet lonely person in the episode "Bubble Buddies" early in the first season, she rapidly develops a close relationship with Steven. An avid reader of fantasy literature, she admires what she calls Steven's "magical destiny" and is eager to be part of it. Her involvement in Gem adventures gradually increases over the course of the series; she inherits Rose Quartz's sword and is eventually accepted as a member of the Crystal Gems. Long-term character arcs involving Connie include her learning to see herself as Steven's equal despite not having magical abilities of her own and to push back against her own overprotective parents. Some viewers have interpreted Steven and Connie's relationship as romantic or potentially romantic.

- Sasha Waybright: A 13-year old human girl who is Anne and Marcy's childhood friend, whom Grime captured; she eventually became his new lieutenant after proving her prowess in battle. Despite her manipulative and bossy nature, she genuinely cares for her friends. After her capture, Sasha used her persuasive abilities to have the Toads be friendly and serve her. After two giant herons attack their tower, Sasha convinces Grime to take her advice so they can defeat them in battle. Pleased with the outcome, Grime makes Sasha lieutenant, a position she hopes to use to find her friends.
- Marcy Wu: A 13-year old human girl who Anne and Sasha's childhood friend, who found the Calamity Box in a shop on Anne's birthday and was teleported to Amphibia. She serves as the brains of the trio, and is an expert but somewhat clumsy gamer. After she, Anne, and Sasha were transported to Amphibia, she found herself in Newtopia, where she was accepted by the inhabitants and became King Andrias' chief advisor and ranger. After spending months with them, she was reunited with Anne and was introduced to the Plantars for the first time. It becomes apparent that while she is still clumsy, she had become more adventurous and is capable of taking care of herself while also expanding her knowledge of Amphibian culture and anatomy.
- Princess Maureen: An process blue newt and the adopted daughter of King Andrias and heir to the throne of Amphibia.

She's a complete failure at cooking. She was permanently transformed into a human upon being drained of her ink after the fight for anime. Despite being too optimistic and athletic on the outside, she has a soft spot and a kindhearted soul with a heart of gold on the inside.
- Froggy Hopkins: A jolly, stupid, and anime loving man child, he is an anthropomorphic frog (formerly a alligator) and the son of Jon Hopkins that loves eating rocks and anime. His species is endangered. He is frequently shown to have bad and VERY LOUD singing.
- Robot Jones: Current anti-heroic tritagonist. He is a Robot who constantly wants to be in Crossover Time's videos during Season 13 and Season 14. He is friends with the cast but more so Froggy Hopkins. He is the focus of Season 30's second story arc that centers on his career as a rapper, but it caused him to strain his relationship with his friends. He loses his fame and is able to make up with his friends and fully be part of the crew during Season 30's conclusion. Despite this, he is still shown to be a sexual degenerate as well as a criminal, and treats the female cast incredibly poorly.
- Vivian: A shy and sometimes cowardly cyborg alien girl who's a pro in video games. She also loves puffballs, as she is frequently seen with one. She is also a cyborg cyclops girl who can manipulate the properties of video games, and has a somewhat comically mysterious origin.
- Lemony: A literal fruit frog used to replace Peggy that was later transformed into a lazy and unintelligent frog girl by Zora Mask and the late Mack's best friend/crush.
- Evie Brinkerhoff: A Floran girl from Starbound who was mentally unstable due to her wanting attention. She eventually reformed in Enid's Lesson. She has since gradually grown to be good friends with most of the cast, though still acts like a jerk.
- Gretchen: A tigress girl scout and former demon hunter hailing from the Forest Kingdom. She is an innocent denizen but tends to suffer from PTSD and a sadistic mindset she obtained during her former life as a Demon Hunter.
- Jay Jorgensen: A Novakid who was a friend of Evie. He was created by the fans in a live stream.
- BMO: A small robot and video game console who lives with Finn and Jake. Their name is a shortening of the phrase "Be More", and it is and sometimes written phonetically as "Beemo". Despite being voiced by a female voice actress, BMO has no definite gender, and characters (including BMO) refer to BMO in a variety of ways throughout the show, including using both male and female pronouns, as well as terms such as "m'lady" or "little living boy".
- Hop Pop Plantar: An orange Poison dart frog who is Sprig and Polly's grandfather and Anne's adoptive grandfather. He is very protective of his grandkids, and was initially unsure of taking Anne in due to her strange anatomy. However, he learns to welcome her after she owns up to accidentally breaking his cane.
- Fara Talon: The self-proclaimed most powerful human on the New York City, K.O. and Maddie's mentor.
- Carol Kincaid: K.O.'s tough yet doting mother and the owner of "Fitness Emotions" at the plaza, which Ginger, Gladys and Gertie frequent. She usually gives K.O. advice, though it is not always clear what she is trying to teach.
- Eugene Garcia: The overseer of the plaza and owner of the bodega where Maddie, K.O., Enid, and Rad work. He is tough, serious and prideful of the plaza and wishes for it not to be harmed. However, he has occasionally shown to not mind his employees slacking, as he considers it "normal".
- Stan Pines: The great uncle of Dipper and Mabel, who is best characterized by his grumpyness, selfishness and abrasiveness. He has been going by the name Stanford Pines, the name of his older twin brother, but his real name is Stanley. He runs and lives in the Mystery Shack; a tourist trap billed as "the world's most bizarre museum". He is primarily a salesman, putting most of his effort into showmanship, and is eager to sell the Shack's knick-knacks, trinkets, and baubles for exorbitant prices in the gift store section. Because of his drive to make money, his methods of obtaining it are not always legal and frequently commits petty crimes, having a laundry list of crimes a mile long. When he's not making money, he's usually at home watching television. Stan usually wears a fez and carries around an 8-ball topped cane; he sometimes wears an eyepatch over his glasses. He frequently sends the twins on what they consider outrageous and unpredictable errands, but is protective and loving towards them. Despite his age, Stan is physically fit to the point of being able to fight back when threatened. Behind his vending machine, he has a hidden staircase to an unknown location, which the season 1 finale reveals contains a large hidden device powered by encrypted information in the three journals. Later, he collects all three after Li'l Gideon's arrest and after Dipper shows him Journal 3, but later returns it to him. "Not What He Seems" reveals he was attempting to retrieve his older twin brother Ford after he was stranded in another dimension. In the series finale, Stan sacrifices his memory to defeat Bill, but regains it after seeing Mabel's scrapbook.
- Garnet: A quiet, stoic, pragmatic, and described by Steven as "mysterious", but over the course of the series she becomes more emotionally open, especially in expressing her love for Steven. According to the writers, her great self-confidence is reflected in the fact that she never asks questions. She possesses two gems in the palms of her hands, from which she summons her Gem weapon, a pair of heavy gauntlets. She also has a precognitive ability she refers to as "future vision". Garnet has three eyes, over which she wears a visor.
- Ruby and Sapphire: The two smaller Gems who are the components of Garnet—first appeared in "Jail Break". They have contrasting personalities and abilities: Sapphire is an emotionally reserved Gem who held a high rank on Homeworld, with ice-related powers and the ability to see into the future; while Ruby is impulsive and hotheaded, has fire-related abilities, and was a common foot soldier on Homeworld. Garnet's qualities are the result of a "conversation" between these two contrasting personalities. Near the end of the fifth season, after a period of questioning the basis of their relationship in the wake of revelations about Rose Quartz's past, Ruby and Sapphire recommit themselves to each other through marriage; critics described the characters' marriage as a milestone of progress in the history of queer representation in children's television.
- Amethyst: The shortest and youngest of the Crystal Gems other than Steven. Her mischievous sense of humor often provides comic relief, and her fun-loving, childish nature bolsters her friendship with Steven. Her amethyst gemstone, from which she can summon a whip, is located on her chest; she also makes frequent use of shapeshifting capabilities.[13] She was the last of the Gems created on Earth as part of the Gem Homeworld's "Kindergarten" project to convert Earth into a Gem-occupied world and learns in the second season that she is smaller and weaker than other Gems of her type (the "Quartz" warrior caste). Her rebellious and hedonistic personality covers for deep-seated feelings of inadequacy, resentment, and fear that the other Crystal Gems do not respect her, and a long-term character arc involves her learning to respect herself and her capabilities.
- Pearl: A temperamental, precise strategist and technician. Her gemstone is a white pearl in her forehead from which she can summon a spear and create holographic images. She is the most motherly and protective of Steven out of the Gems. Pearl harbored a deep romantic devotion to Rose Quartz, leading to lasting grief over Rose's absence and jealousy over her relationship with Greg; major character arcs for Pearl include learning how to cope with and move beyond these emotions. On the Gem Homeworld, pearls are "made-to-order" servants for high-ranking Gems, and the fifth season reveals that Pearl originally served Rose Quartz in Rose's original identity of Pink Diamond. Pearl has learned to move beyond her caste role as a fighter and technician, but still has difficulty learning to feel independent rather than subordinate. Critical response to Pearl has largely appreciated her portrayal as a complex and sympathetic, yet flawed queer character.
- Ford Pines: Stan's six-fingered long-lost identical older twin brother and the author of the journals. "Not What He Seems" reveals that in 1982, he was transported into an alternate dimension through a portal underneath the Mystery Shack, which he was stranded in until Mabel reopened the portal. In "The Last Mabelcorn", he recounts his friendship with Bill Cipher and how he attempted to create a teleporter to enter his realm. In the present, after learning of Bill's plan to invade the mainstream dimension, he destroys the teleporter, but at the cost of a dimensional rift leaking out of it, which he contains. In "Dipper and Mabel vs. the Future", Bill takes the body of Blendin Blandin, who then tricks Mabel into giving him the rift, which he then breaks the glass ball containing the rift, causing Weirdmageddon. In "Weirdmageddon Part 1", he attempts to defeat Bill, but is captured, petrified, and the journals destroyed. He is later freed and restored to normal. After Weirdmageddon, he tells Stan that he found remaining anomalies and offers him to go sailing around the world with him to find them, which Stan accepts.

After the Toads defeat the herons, Grime realizes the value that Sasha holds and makes her his lieutenant.

During the epilogue, Joe and Bessie have produced hybrid children together. His name is a reference to concept artist Joe Sparrow.
- Honeycomb the Hummingbird: A hummingbird that serves as Maureen's steed and mode of transportation.
- Frobo: An enigmatic Frobot (short for frog-robot) that rested in the Ruins of Despair. After Anne and the Plantars left, it suddenly came to and began following them. He later arrives in Wartwood Swamp, where he is adopted by Polly before the rest of the Plantars after a misunderstanding from the locals. He is capable of many things, including gardening and making toast. During the battle against Andrias and his army of robots, Frobo is destroyed, leaving only his head. Anne and the Plantars manage to bring Frobo's head with them when they escape to Los Angeles. He is partially rebuilt, but gets reduced to a talking head. During the epilogue, Frobo continues to help the Plantars with gardening.

Ivy learns that her mother has been secretly training her to defend herself for when she can take her on an adventure. When Sprig and his family return to Wartwood, they resume their relationship, much to the annoyance of everyone. However, they decide to dial it back after nearly ruining a mission.

- Maddie Flour: Mr. Flour's daughter and Rosemary, Ginger, and Lavender Flour's older sister. She is an expert of magic and Sprig's ex-fiancée, who works at "Flour & Daughters Bakery." She was initially betrothed to Sprig so Anne could get flour dough, which she seemed happy about. After Sprig broke up with her, she was disappointed, but remained friends with him. Despite seeming creepy, she is kind and understanding. She used to play with her younger siblings on a regular basis, but became absorbed by her hobby in magic. She ultimately learns to make time for them.
- Louie Galbines: A lavender fish boy who was a crush of Maudie.
- Elaine Colligan: A tomboyish yet laid-back 15-year-old who works as a part-time employee at the bodega.
- Simon Petrikov: A recurring antagonist-turned-supporting protagonist of the series, and is 1,043 years old. His ice-based magic abilities come from a magical crown he wears, which directly causes his insanity.
- Princess Bubblegum: A bubblegum humanoid, comparable to the inhabitants of the Candy Kingdom which she rules. The official series website has described her as "a millionaire nerd enthusiast [who] immerses herself in every branch of geekdom". She and Finn have a complex relationship. For the longest time Finn had a crush on Bubblegum, and although she cares for him a great deal, she did not return his feelings for him. In the episode "What was Missing", it is implied that she and Marceline may have had some sort of relationship in the past. This later caused an online controversy over her and Marceline's sexual orientation.
- Marceline Abadeer: A half-human and half-demon vampire, and the eponymous Vampire Queen, after having killed the previous Vampire King, as seen in Stakes. Although she is over a thousand years old, she appears in the form of a young adult. She is usually shown playing her axe bass, which was formerly her family's heirloom battle axe.
- Mr. Boonchuy: Anne's mother and co-proprietor of Thai Go, who appears to be strict, but is very caring towards her daughter. She is bilingual and loves singing old Thai songs despite being "tone deaf". She had trouble accepting the Plantars, especially Sprig, whom she called "Pink Frog", but warmed up to them. It is revealed that during Anne's disappearance, Mrs. Boonchuy was consoled by her neighbors, and would also build several shrines and effigies of her daughter, showing that she is also an artist. She learns the real reason for Anne's return and, while angry at first, agrees to help her and her friends after realizing she was watching out for her, her husband, and the Plantars. She and her husband accept that Anne has matured significantly and watch her return to Amphibia to save her friends, before confronting Mr. X with the truth. She and her husband later become trained agents in the fight against Andrias. She is voiced by On Braly, Braly's mother.
- Mrs. Boonchuy: Anne's father and co-proprietor of Thai Go, who shares the same protective qualities as Hop Pop. He respects the Plantars for taking good care of Anne during the five months she was missing. Additionally, he is an online gamer. He eventually learns the real reason for Anne's return, but agrees to help her and her friends as he understands that she was looking out for him, his wife and the Plantars. He and his wife accept that Anne has matured significantly and watch her return to Amphibia to save her friends, before confronting Mr. X with the truth. He and his wife later become trained agents in the fight against Andrias.

- Matthew Loyalitat - TBA

- Lumpy Space Princess: The princess of Lumpy Space, an alternate dimension. As a "Lumper", made out of "irradiated stardust", she can convert other beings into Lumpers by biting them. LSP is spoiled, sarcastic, and a narcissist, and is often shown living outdoors with salvaged furniture and appears to be homeless, because she has run away from her parents, who are the king and queen of Lumpy Space.
- Lady Rainicorn: A Rainicorn, a half-rainbow half-unicorn creature, as well as Jake's girlfriend and Princess Bubblegum's companion. She can turn objects and people different colors, and she can fly because her body intercepts light and can "dance" on it, which also explains her movement and why she has a rainbow pattern.
- Princess Taffy - TBA
- Rainicorn Princess - TBA
- Flame Princess: The 16-year-old princess of the Fire Kingdom, the daughter of the Flame King, and is one of Finn's friends. Like all other inhabitants of the Fire Kingdom, she is covered with fire, the very flames emitted from her body being extensions of herself that intensify when she becomes emotionally excited.
- Cinnamon Bun: A cinnamon roll from the Candy Kingdom who usually tries to impress people by doing tricks or volunteering for tasks, but usually ends up failing. Princess Bubblegum refers to him as being "half baked" due to his simple-minded nature. He became the new Royal Tart Toter after the old Royal Tart Toter became senile. After expressing unhappiness with Princess Bubblegum's actions, Cinnamon Bun assists Flame Princess in overthrowing her evil father and staying by her side. In "Red Throne", Cinnamon Bun becomes "fully baked" after being struck by flame, gaining intelligence as he declares himself Flame Princess' champion and knight, while professing his platonic love for her.
- Peppermint Butler: A peppermint candy that lives in the Candy Kingdom and is Princess Bubblegum's butler, but is later revealed to be a practitioner of dark magic with only a few knowing the truth.
- Soos Ramirez: A 22-year-old Hispanic man who works as a handyman at the Mystery Shack and is a friend of Dipper and Mabel, who provides them transportation when needed. He is a portly and adventurous man-child with buck teeth, which is frequently compared to that of a beaver. He is clumsy and often makes mistakes, but has various talents, including engineering, DJing, and pinball, and enjoys bonding with Dipper by doing "boy stuff". "Blendin's Game" reveals his birthday to be July 13. It was also revealed he didn't have a good father-son relationship with his dad. At the end of the series, after Ford and Stan leave Gravity Falls, Soos becomes the new Mr. Mystery of the Mystery Shack. After breaking up with his dating sim girlfriend, GIFfany, Soos enters a long-distance relationship with Melody, a girl from Portland who moves to Gravity Falls and becomes the Mystery Shack's new cashier after he takes over.
- Wendy Corduroy: A tomboyish yet laid-back 15-year-old who works as a part-time employee at the Mystery Shack. She is Dipper's crush, and several episodes focus on his attempts to impress her. Wendy has stated that she had many boyfriends, including one ex-boyfriend whom she cannot remember breaking up with. Wendy is the oldest and tallest child in her family; her father is Manly Dan, one of the local lumberjacks and fishermen of Gravity Falls. Throughout the series, she proves herself to be her "father's daughter", having experience as a lumberjack, tremendous physical strength, and survival skills. Being a typical sociable and nonchalant teen, she has many friends around her age. Her boyfriend at the start of the series is Robbie, whom Dipper despises and sees as a rival until she breaks up with him.
- Lapis Lazuli: A Gem who was trapped in a magical mirror on Earth for thousands of years. When the mirror is given to Steven in the first-season episode “Mirror Gem”, she befriends him, but initially mistrusts the other Crystal Gems and attacks them when Steven frees her. As the first sentient Gem other than the Crystal Gems to appear in the series, Lapis's appearance sets the stage for deeper plot developments; the show's writers cite it as "really the beginning of the show". In "Jail Break", the first-season finale, she prevents the Homeworld Gem Jasper from attacking the Crystal Gems by fusing with her and imprisoning themselves at the bottom of the ocean. After being freed in the third-season premiere, she forms a close relationship with Peridot and comes to accept living on Earth. Her character arc in her intermittent appearances thereafter involves her slow recovery from the psychological trauma of having been imprisoned and being part of an abusive fusion, and coping with the fear of being victimized again. Late in the fifth season, she joins the Crystal Gems to fight Blue Diamond. She has powerful telekinetic control over water and can produce wings made of water from the lapis lazuli gemstone on her back.
- Peridot: A technician dispatched by the Gem Homeworld to check on remaining Gem installations on Earth; her appearance becomes an ominous sign that the Crystal Gems are under threat from Homeworld. Stranded on Earth after the events of the first-season finale, Peridot becomes a recurring antagonist in the first half of the second season before being eventually captured and convinced to ally with the Crystal Gems to defuse the Cluster. When the Crystal Gems first encounter her she wears technological "limb enhancers", which give her a robotic appearance; after she is captured, she loses them and appears much shorter and weaker without them. She plays a prominent role in the last part of the second season, during which her character arc centers around her learning to outgrow Homeworld's hierarchical, utilitarian mindset and to appreciate the value of friendship, individuality, and life on Earth. She eventually declares herself a member of the Crystal Gems and forms a close relationship with Lapis Lazuli. She is stubborn and self-aggrandizing in demeanor but demonstrates a willingness to learn from her mistakes and to treat others with greater respect and kindness. Her gemstone is a triangular peridot on her forehead, and she discovers in the third season that she can telekinetically control metal objects.
- Bismuth: A passionately devoted to overthrowing the hierarchical structure of Gem society and grateful to Rose Quartz for showing her that an alternative existed. However, her radicalism led to a dispute with Rose over the use of a weapon designed to permanently destroy enemy Gems, leading Rose to bubble her gem and hide her fate from the other Crystal Gems. In the show's special hundredth episode, Steven accidentally frees Bismuth and befriends her, but is later forced to bubble her again when the same conflict repeats itself. Steven later frees Bismuth again in the fifth season so she can attend Ruby and Sapphire's wedding; upon her release, she comes to understand Rose's choices after learning of her true identity as Pink Diamond.
- Greg Universe: A former rock musician who now lives in his van and runs a car wash in Beach City. Although Steven lives with the Gems, Greg remains a constant presence in his life. Though he is often made uncomfortable by Gem magic, Greg is laid-back, accepting, and supportive of Steven's adventures; it is largely from Greg that Steven inherits his optimistic, empathetic temperament. As a young adult, Greg ran away from his controlling parents to become a traveling musician; the freedom and lack of structure he gave young Steven was a reaction against his own strict upbringing.
- Pacifica Northwest: The most popular girl in Gravity Falls. She comes from a wealthy family, being the great-great-granddaughter of the supposed founder of Gravity Falls, Nathaniel Northwest. However, the true founder of Gravity Falls was Quentin Trembley, the eighth-and-a-half President of the United States. Pacifica is sarcastic and spoiled and is Mabel's primary rival, as she looks down on Mabel and thinks her eccentric personality is annoying and immature. She uses people's insecurities to manipulate them into doing what she wants and despises Mabel for standing up against her. She gets her comeuppance after Dipper reveals her family's prestige is built on a lie. In the episode "The Golf War", she befriends Mabel after they work together to thwart the Lilliputtians. "Northwest Mansion Mystery" shows that she is afraid of standing up to her parents and disappointing them. However, after learning what her family has done, she proves herself to be different from her family by defying her parents and opening up the Northwest Mansion gates to commoners. After the events of the episode, Pacifica and Dipper become friends. In "Weirdmageddon Part 3: Take Back the Falls", Pacifica takes refuge in the Mystery Shack along with several of the remaining un-petrified citizens of Gravity Falls and teams up with the Pines to defeat Bill. By the end of the series, she is good friends with the Pines family.
- Old Man McGucket: The "local kook" of Gravity Falls. Despite his apparent insanity and stereotypical hillbilly demeanor, Old Man McGucket is a technical mastermind, capable of creating massive, complex animatronics and a skilled chemist. His son works as a ranger at the lake, and the two seem to have a strained relationship. "Society of the Blind Eye" reveals some of his backstory and that his full name is Fiddleford Hadron McGucket. His backstory is explored in "Society of the Blind Eye" and "A Tale of Two Stans": in the 1970s, he was once a garage computer inventor in Palo Alto before Stanford called upon him to work on his trans-dimensional portal. After accidentally entering the portal and glimpsing what was on the other side, he was so overcome with horror that he invented a machine to allow him to forget the experience. Over time, he founded the Society of the Blind Eye to protect Gravity Falls's inhabitants from its various monsters and anomalies by forcing them to forget their existence. Eventually, his overuse of the machine on his own mind drove him insane. Dipper and Mabel find the machine, along with the townspeople's memories, and he regains his sanity. In "Weirdmageddon Part 3: Take Back the Falls", he assists the Pines in saving Ford by transforming the Mystery Shack into a giant robotic mech. He and his son later move into the Northwest Mansion after earning millions by selling the patents of his inventions to the government after the events of Weirdmaggedon.
- Gideon Gleeful: A young boy who owns the "Tent of Telepathy", a successful competitor of the Mystery Shack and is recognizable by his Southern accent and white pompadour. He has a deep rivalry with Grunkle Stan that presumably started long before the beginning of the series. Despite the cutesy and charming personality he presents to others, in reality he is conniving, vicious, and willing to hurt or kill others to get his way; he even abused his parents, threatening his father and seemingly having reduced his mother to a nervous wreck some time ago. He also has an unhealthy obsession with Mabel, and his belief that Dipper and Stan are the only things keeping them apart prevents him from seeing that Mabel does not like him. He previously owned an amulet that endowed him with telekinesis, but Mabel destroyed it after he attempts to use it to kill Dipper. He also owns Journal 2, and as such seems to be one of the only residents who are fully[citation needed] aware of the mysteries and secrets of Gravity Falls. He seeks to gain possession of the Mystery Shack, saying it has 'a secret you couldn't possibly begin to imagine'. In the Season 1 finale, Stan reveals to the townspeople that Li'l Gideon's psychic ability is a ruse and that Li'l Gideon is a fraud. Li'l Gideon is arrested by Sheriff Blubs shortly thereafter, although he quickly managed to get his fellow inmates to follow him. In "Weirdmageddon Part 1", he and his fellow inmates escape from prison and are made Bill's police force and guardians of a prison bubble Mabel is put in. After attempting to capture Dipper, Wendy, and Soos, Dipper manages to convince Gideon that Mabel never loved him, and Gideon has a change of heart and decides to rebel against Bill. In "Weirdmageddon Part 3: Take Back the Falls", he is revealed to have been captured by Bill, trapped in a cage, and forced to dance for eternity, but is freed after he tells Dipper and Mabel how to restore the humanity of the citizens Bill petrified. After Bill's defeat, he officially gives up his life of crime and tries to live a normal life.

Lion provides Steven with connections to Rose Quartz's legacy—he brings Steven and Connie to Rose's secret armory, and a number of Rose's keepsakes are stored in a pocket dimension accessible via his mane, including her sword and a videotaped message to Steven. He is introduced in the episode "Steven's Lion" early in the first season, in which he appears mysteriously in the desert and follows Steven home. The two of them agree that if Bill goes into Stan's mind and steals the combination to the safe where the deed is hidden, Gideon will have to help Bill with his plans. Bill claims he could use Dipper, Mabel, and Soos against the "darkness coming", though this may have been to throw them off his true plans. In the episode "Sock Opera". he tricks Dipper into making a deal with him, briefly possessing his body until Mabel fights him at the puppet show and forces him out. In "Dipper and Mabel vs. the Future" he possesses Blendin' to release a dimensional rift and escape into the mainstream dimension. In reality, he survived, but lost his superpowers. Attempts at experimenting on himself to restore his lost powers resulted in his current form and an alternate personality known as Shadowy Figure. Venomous eventually resurfaced as a respected scientist in the villain community and one of Lord Boxman's clients. At some point, he gained Fink, a young humanoid rat "minion" who he treats like a daughter. During the first season, while Shadowy Figure orchestrates the manifestation of T.K.O., Venomous expresses his admiration for Boxman by providing him with a bio-chip that would later be used in Boxman Jr.'s creation. After regaining his passion for evil while taking in Boxman in "Boxman Crashes", Venomous uses the money he extorted from Congresswoman to buy Boxmore from its investors and reinstate Boxman as its head, with him as Boxman's business partner. He also becomes Boxman's lover and begins being referred to as the stepfather of Boxman's robotic children. Appearances[]
Appearances are divided into four sections, the main, the major and the recurring and the minor. The main characters are the most important characters in the series, usually the roles of the protagonist and the deuteragonist. The major is subordinate to the main, where they still play a prominent role, such as being the tritagonist or antagonist. Recurring characters play major roles too, but are more prominent than minor roles.

On July 28, 2018, SMG4 introduced a new addition to the Crossover Time series, Arcs. Arcs in the series are story more serious (and usually darker) than regular episodes. Due to the addition of arcs, the nature of the entire series has changed, and permanent character deaths became more frequent. On June 20, 2020 SMG4 also introduced Sagas. There are 7 official arcs, 1 saga and 1 story collection released.

Non-blooper episode types[]
- The SMG4 Show: a series of shows hosted by SMG4 himself (in real life). It involves him in doing weird things, like kissing plushies, talking about weird things and being a pervert. Every episode but the first one was aired on a Wednesday. The first episode aired on July 5, 2016 and the last episode aired on August 10, 2016.
- SMG4 Plays Merio Nertnendoes: The series of videos that involves SMG4 playing a bunch of random Mario children's games that he comes across on the internet, although a few adult games may also appear during an episode of this series as well. Many of the games SMG4 plays during this series vary from average, to weird, to creepy, to total r*******ness, and even to total bootleg. SMG4 began this series on May 23, 2015 and an episode of this series has occasionally taken place, though there has been no new episode since December 13, 2017.
- HITBOX: A live-action comedy and martial arts combat-based series led mainly by SMG4's brother Kevin (who does martial arts) featuring the two brothers and others going on wacky real-life adventures that feature a lot of combat in addition to silly gags and jokes. The series parodies multiple franchises including Super Mario, Pokemon, and even SMG4 itself (Such as HITBOX: SMG4 in Real Life. Not to be confused with SM64: Mario in Real Life?!). It is based on the Hobo Bros 100,000 subscribers special named Super Hobo Bros that was also in real life and followed the same concept. The series was first teased in the SMG4 Direct on September 5, 2018 and the first episode aired on September 21, 2018. The series is on indefinite hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1]
- Glitchy Vlogs: A series with occasional releases showcasing recent developments in SMG4 and Kevin's actual lives, such as a tour of their new house back in early 2018 or a trip to a bootleg toy store.
- GLITCH PRODUCTIONS EXTRAS!: Videos showcasing SMG4 and his brother Kevin doing a variety of different SMG4-related things in real life, such as trying to make an episode in 30 minutes or competing to see who can draw SMG4 characters better. Glitchy Vlogs was merged with this series.<

Trivia[]
- The series has somehow avoided controversy revolving around its explicit and obscene use of family entertainment characters; however, due to YouTube's stricter policies, several videos have recently become a target of demonetization and copyright strikes, in addition to public internet systems restricting a majority of the videos.
- Although the series doesn't have an official rating due to being a web series, IMDB says its rated TV-14 (M in Australia). This almost makes sense because the video’s ratings are mixed, with most being around TV-14. And IMDB also says its rated TV-14 DLSV too. It is also possible this is based on the 2014-16 videos, which are commonly agreed to be the most explicit, especially in reference to the cleaner content post SMG4's focus on ad revenue.
- Currently, SMG4 is in an experimental stage, involving testing out new episode formats and bringing back older ones.
- According to the "So we READ the SMG4 WIKI" Video on HOBO BROS, one of SMG4 episodes got demonetized for including twerking Teletubbies, the episode in question is SSENMODNAR - 3,826,412 SUB SPECIAL (2020).
- The Steam users MrTheWizard, John10v10 & C_art have recently given a great help and support, because they have improved and created new ragdolls, which are also based on the characters of Luke & Kevin.
- MrTheWizard is the one who made the Lil Chonks and he also made an MR Tari, Belle, and Sofia Ragdolls, but he also made an Auri Bori & Whisk Ragdolls.
- Luke even enjoyed the accuracy of the Auri Ragdoll on Twitter.[2]
- C_art created the Guardian Pods models, the Enchained model for Tari and Belle (which Belle’s model was officially used in SMG4 Chrismas Special 2021 next to Auri's model.) and also made a fanmade model for SMG0.
- John10v10 John10v10 created the Meggy Deluxe Ragdoll, and in "SMG4: She’s Back" Luke used this addon for the first time in a Canon episode.
- MrTheWizard is the one who made the Lil Chonks and he also made an MR Tari, Belle, and Sofia Ragdolls, but he also made an Auri Bori & Whisk Ragdolls.
- In the opening advertisement of SMG4: Mario has a BBQ but he's not invited, Luke reveals that he's considering reviving the Meet the Cast series, although it has not been done since.
- The same advertisement also reveals that he's considering making a "documentary of Mario," despite having already done that. This episode would later come out in 2022.
- The deceased characters so far in the series have had a notable trait:
- They were in the series for a minimum of 4 months to a maximum of 2 years.
- Though few, they have become spirit mentors, and when their tormentor is in great distress, they give them courage at the right moment.
- From March 18, 2017 to March 16, 2024 and from February 15, 2025 onwards, all episodes (except for SMG4 Movies, REMASTERED64, SMG4 & SMG3 and possibly Crossover Time CREW-esque episodes) have the prefix "SMG4:" in the title. After the Jigsawvision mini-series (which does not have a prefix) the prefix was temporarily retired, with all episodes since have no prefix before it apart from SMG4 Movies and REMASTERED64.
