Daddy Dearest is a minor character in the SMG4 series. He's the husband of Mommy Mearest and the father of Girlfriend. His enemies are Boyfriend and Mario. He is a major antagonist in the popular Newgrounds game, Friday Night Funkin, the main antagonist of SMG4: If Mario Was In.... Friday Night Funkin and a minor antagonist in its continuity, SMG4: If Mario Was In Friday Night Funkin 2.
He challenged Boyfriend to a rap battle and won thanks to Mario's accidental interruption. Mario would later challenge him to a rap battle to make up for Boyfriend's failure and won. Not wanting to give up, Daddy Dearest summoned several other rappers to defeat Mario, but Mario recruited a team of his own rappers and defeated him. Daddy Dearest's defeat caused him to become powerless and revealed that he had absorbed PaRappa the Rapper's power, who escaped after Mario won.
SMG4: If Mario Was In Friday Night Funkin 2[]
It is revealed that after Daddy Dearest became powerless due to his defeat, he became completely disabled, even being forced to speak through an artificial synthesizer, prompting Mommy Mearest to enact revenge by cursing Mario and his gang. When the curse was broken after Mommy Mearest's crew lost against Mario's crew, Daddy Dearest suggested that they take their rap battles to the skies, which Mommy Mearest happily agrees to. Unfortunately for them, they were shot down while invading Mushroom Kingdom air space.

Apparently, the track was battle for dat ass instead of the original tracks Bopeebo, Fresh and Dadbattle in the original game. The song they used in the battle was Fresh.
