Dyllan (formerly Darrel) Loyalität is the main protagonist of the Amphibia fanfiction "Loyalty Among Worlds." A 13 year old boy of German descent, he attended St. James Middle School alongside his friends; Anne Boonchuy, Marcy Wu, and his ex-girlfriend, Sasha Waybright. Upon Anne opening the Calamity Box, he got transported to Amphibia from which he met two salamanders, Tint and Cronaxx Tormak with whom he learns to perform magic whilst in a village full of Salamanders.

Dyllan Loyalitat is portrayed as a shy, dependable, social anxiety, hardworking, well-meaning young man who is loyal to his friends whilst often at the expense of getting into trouble with authorities. He'll takes his experiences to heart, and learns that with his new abilities, he must find the courage to be dependable for himself. And make life changing choices as well. Throughout the story after overcome his fear, weak, and anxiety, he become wise, brave, compassion, voice of reason, moral compass, and better person he turn out to be, his sheer willpower will never give himself up at nothing to find a way home and save his mother's cancer treatment if his hope by using magic to cure her. As shown with the fight against Flaps, he shows no qualms with getting confrontational to the point of physical violence.
Controversies[]
The figure of AdmiralDT8, and his self-insert character Dyllan Loyalität, is highly controversial and widely ridiculed or not within the Amphibia fandom. Much of the ridicule stems from the poor quality and lack of effort in his screenshot edits, which often appear out of place. However, the majority of the backlash is fueled by the fact that AdmiralDT8, an adult in his late 20s, has created content featuring a romantic relationship between himself (through Darrel) and the 13-year-old character Anne Boonchuy. Despite AdmiralDT8's claims that he does not actually love Anne, this has led to accusations of pedophilia and other severe criticisms. AdmiralDT8's Amphibia fanfiction, "Loyalty Among Worlds," is widely regarded as the worst in the fandom. Whilst the rewrite has fixed several of the major flaws within the fanfiction, as well as denying Dyllan/Darrel to be a self insert, most still hold a negative view of AdmiralDT8, while others were benevolent, honest, curious, and pure child-like wonders who really like his stories for good reason and heartwarming rather than previous viewers while ignoring negative viewers and their comments just misunderstood and misguided. Until now, for those who emphasize, admire, and like his original and reboot story and characters even apologize and forgive AdmiralDT8 for negative viewers' ZeroWarriorZX-like atrocious, antagonize, toxic, ungrateful, and hateful behavior when the time has change and move on for reboot without forgetting the original story, there's no going back now.

- On AdmiralDT8's Deviantart page, it can be seen that Darrel was meant to have a brother named Richard who was retconned for unknown reasons.
- As a result of the aformentioned backlash, not to mention Youtube videos covering Dyllan and the fanfiction from which he hails from, AdmiralDT8 deleted Loyalty Among Worlds and rebooted it via rewriting the story with several improvements.
