Flame Princess (whose name is Phoebe and who is occasionally called FP) is a fire princess who is the current ruler of the Fire Kingdom, Finn's ex-girlfriend, the supporting character and former anti-heroine character in the 2010s Cartoon Network series Adventure Time.
She is voiced by Jessica DiCiccio who also voiced Lexi Bunny from Loonatics Unleashed, Malina from The Emperor's New School, Selina from Winx Club, Lynn Loud Jr. and Lucy Loud from The Loud House, Hanazuki from Hanazuki, Star Sapphire from DC Super Hero Girls, and Maggie Pesky from The Buzz on Maggie. In the Japanese dub from the series, she is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro.
Flame Princess has long orange-red hair about waist-length that is like fire and as such flows above her head. She has black eyes that sparkle white and yellow in the light of her fire. Physically, she is thicker than the other characters, with a wider waist and bigger arms and legs. Her skin is yellow-orange and she usually wears an orange-red dress under a light orange surcoat with hot pink trimming. At first, she does not wear shoes, though her dress usually hides her feet from view. She has two diamond-shaped, red gems; one on her forehead and the other on the front of her dress. The red gem on her dress is shown to be a part of her dress and not her body, which exemplified when Flame Princess had a different outfit on in "Ignition Point."
When her flames are doused, her skin changes to a pinkish-gray hue and her hair falls down her back and becomes a dull shade of maroon. Once in dry conditions, she returns to her normal appearance quickly. She turns into a similar appearance when she was poisoned in "The Red Throne." She has many different enraged and battling forms, most of which have red eyes.
Flame Princess is normally seen wearing dresses, in all different shades of red and orange with a gem on some of her outfits and her hair is seen up most of the time.
In "Ignition Point," she wears a raspberry tank top with red matching pants under a clear layer, a pair of red shoes, and her hair in side-buns with a back ponytail.
In "Vault of Bones," she wears a light orange and raspberry strapless dress with fire at the end. Her hair was worn down and shorter with a curl on top.
In "Earth & Water," she wears a casual white dress with a peach-colored, short-sleeved surcoat, a hot pink sash and a pair of red boots that are about knee-length. Her hair was worn down and is slightly longer. As a baby, she is shorter in both physical and hair length and wears a raspberry t-shirt with a rock diaper. At the end of the episode, she wears a dark brown, full body suit armor with a skirt, copper sash, red trimming, knee caps, and Flame King's crown as her ruler outfit. Her hair is styled in a ponytail similar to the one she wear in "Ignition Point." She is also seen wearing this outfit in "The Red Throne" and "Princess Day."
In "The Red Throne," she wears her ruler outfit over a white-pink dress. Her skin turns dimmer and her hair falls down to her back, similar to when she gets wet. At the end of the episode, she is seen in her ruler outfit again, but with her hair worn down.
In "Jake The Brick," she is seen wearing an orange dress with hot pink collar and a red sash as her day dress.
In "The Cooler," she wears a light orange surcoat with hot pink trimmings, molten rocks on her shoulders, orange-red pants and red boots. She has the same hairstyle as she had when wearing her ruler outfit.
In "The Mountain," she wears a light orange crop top with a hood, orange-red pants and dark red shoes.
In "Bun Bun," she wears a white short-sleeve crop top, orange jogging pants, tied hair. She walks barefooted.
In "Hero Heart," she is transformed in to a Candy Person by Princess Bubblegum. She has yellow skin, pink gumballs for eyes, a green candy wrapper dress, hair made out of red candy, and no shoes.
In "Skyhooks II," after she was freed of Patience's mega-spell, she wears an yellow-orange, ground-length dress with a v-neck collar, and the sleeves of which reaching past the elbows. The dress itself also has red-orange stripes going down the sides of the skirt, as well as the waistband, and collar. Her two gems are also missing in this form.
