Amity got Ghost at some point before the events of "Eclipse Lake". When she was handed the staff, Amity said she wanted to be a great witch or an author. But Ghost would not approach her until she admitted not knowing what she wanted to be when she grew up. But she wanted to choose her own path, and for that Ghost came to Amity's side. She is shown to be docile, affectionate, and a sweet cat who likes to be pet, and is usually seen napping like cats often do. She is also shown to be close and loyal to her owner, and tries to help her out in any way.
Physical appearance[]
Ghost's appearance is similar to a typical, short-haired white cat with blue eyes. When in staff form, she stands tall on a purple staff, with with her tail wrapped around. Her eyes are shut in staff form, but when flying, her eyes open and glow bright pink.

Ghost was based on Dana Terrace's cat of the same name.
Ghost is the second cat in a Disney series to be based on a real-life pet owned by a show's creator. The first being Anne Boonchuy's cat Domino from Amphibia, who was based on Matt Braly's cat of the same name.
