Incidental 185[1] is an incidental character who first appears in the episode "Shell of a Man." His incidental type is currently unknown.
Description[]
He is a lavender fish with a hot pink dorsal fin who wears an orange dress shirt with a plum necktie and blue pants with a brown belt with a silver buckle. In his preliminary design, he wore a V-neck T-shirt with no necktie and his pants lacked the belt and fly.
He also has an alternate color palette that first appeared in "Krusty Koncessionaires" where he is colored orange-tan with red-orange lips and a yellow-orange dorsal fin. He also wore a teal shirt with a dark blue necktie, dark green pants, and a golden belt buckle.

He is a somewhat muscular lime green fish with pale orange lips who wears a white sailor's hat, a white dress shirt with a red necktie, and light indigo shorts with a brown belt with a golden buckle.
Role in series[]
Incidental 185 makes a few appearances throughout the series. He is one of the incidental characters that wasn't introduced in the first two seasons. He has his biggest role yet in the episode "Breakin'." He was firstly designed to be one of the "Navy" incidentals for "Shell of a Man," but he then made a few other appearances in the series and became one of the regular redesigned incidental characters in season 12.

"Frozen Face-Off"[]
He appears as one of Mr. Krabs' crewmates in his flashback.
"Mermaid Pants"[]
He comes out of the Krusty Krab's bathroom with a piece of toilet paper stuck on his foot. Mermaid Pants and Barnacle Star think the toilet paper is a bandage that is being undone, so they catch him, they out him on a wheelchair, bandage him, put him a blood transfusion bag and they put peroxide on his eyes, causing them to burn and the poor customer runs away.
"Breakin'"[]
His biggest role yet, where he is a labor authority officer. Mr. Krabs comes into the Krusty Krab kitchen with the labor authority officer to tell SpongeBob that it is time for his break. SpongeBob is unaware that employees have breaks from work, which makes the officer suspicious, though Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob that they obviously have breaks, and he has to take a five-minute one every 20 years. He appears later when SpongeBob is seen cleaning during his break, and gets mad at Mr. Krabs, saying he has had his eye on him for many years and tells him the fine is going to be costly. This causes Mr. Krabs to take drastic measures put SpongeBob in the employee break room. The officer appears once again towards the end when he exits the break room after SpongeBob hosts a party in there. He tells Mr. Krabs that he is in compliance this time, before telling the other party attendants that he is going to have an after-break in his house, exciting them and causing them to leave for the officer's house.
"Hot Crossed Nuts"[]
He is seen as a cowboy after Mr. Krabs decides to change the Krusty Krab into Kowboy Krabs' Nut Shack. He was first seen as part of the riot to destroy the Krusty Krab. However after Incidental 41 eats a table that contains part of smoking Texas tang, he rings a triangle, declaring chow time, and eats the Krusty Krab with other fish. Finally, he is part of the queue for eating a Trashy Patty. He plays a supporting role in this episode.

"To Dad and Back"[]
He appears outside the Undersea Space Agency where he is greeted by Cecil Star when he arrives.
"The Drooling Fool"[]
He is shown surprised by Patrick's drool as it floods the town.
