Scooter, also known as Incidental 37B, is an incidental character who first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants." He shares the same incidental model number with Incidental 37A (Tuck Tucker) and is classified as a hotdog-type incidental.

He is a purple fish with grayish purple fins. He wears yellow shorts with orange flowers and wears a dark green cap as well. In his older appearances, his eyes are much rounder and more closer together.

Scooter is the only generic name Incidental 37B has been given in the franchise. It was used for a hatless Incidental 37B in The Adventures of Man Sponge and Boy Patrick in What Were You Shrinking? and The Adventures of Man Sponge and Boy Patrick in The Mega-Justice Collection.

  • In "New Student Starfish," an unclearly-individually-identified up-to-six from the Good Noodle Board of Mrs. Puff's class containing Incidentals 7, 11, 18, 37B, 73, 104, 107, and 108 may be named Lloyd, Sheila, Paco, Debbie, Horace, and/or Rich; ambiguity raised by a student not appearing in "New Student Starfish" being named Horace in Class Confusion.
  • In "The Krusty Slammer," he is a prisoner that is nicknamed Wobbles.

  • In "The Battle of Bikini Bottom" during Patrick's flashback on the battle, he appears as a blue soldier while an Incidental 37A colored Incidental 37B appears as a red soldier.
  • In "Christmas Who?" he is shown to know Portuguese.
  • His and Incidental 37A's model number, Incidental 34's model number, Incidental 50's model number, Incidental 157's model number, and the original Incidental 160's model number are the only incidental model numbers who have more than one character that shares the same model number.
  • He had a feminine voice in "SpongeBob's Place."
