Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Luigi's Payback is SMG4's 15th blooper.

This episode was aired on July 8, 2011.

Synopsis[]

Luigi, angry at his brother, teams up with Bowser to destroy Mario.

Plot[]

Luigi emerges out of the green pipe with the intent of beating Mario in saving Peach and becoming a YouTube star. Before he can enter the castle, however, Mario catches up and beats him up for trying to save Peach before him. Mario apologizes to the viewers and the bloopers start.

Mario wakes up in Peach's castle, lamenting how it's morning, yet he only slept for 5 minutes. Nevertheless, Mario starts his day by getting combos in Bob-omb Battlefield. Meanwhile, Luigi meets Bowser in the dark world, requesting his help in destroying Mario. Bowser agrees to help and tells Luigi he has a trick up his sleeve. Back in Bob-omb Battlefield, Mario ponders out loud about the trick without thinking. When Mario enters the cannon, however, he finds it out of his control, and it sends him flying. He lands in the castle moat, and Luigi arrives to laugh at him. Afterwards, Mario tries to climb trees, only for them to blow up. Mario finds this fun, however. At his house, Mario goes to the balcony, believing he heard Toad break his legs there. There is no balcony, however, and Mario falls.

Back in the dark world, Luigi tells Bowser that all his tricks are entertaining Mario. Bowser decides to bring out the big guns; the snowmen in Snowman's Land spawn Chuck-yas to throw Mario around and the Goombas on Bob-omb Battlefield have grown to large proportions. Luigi pulls his own prank in the form of ding-dong-ditching the castle. Luigi wonders why Mario hasn't set off the land mine by the bridge before realizing he forgot to set a fire trap in the kitchen, unaware that Mario has seemingly done it himself. As Mario ponders his odd day, coins rain from the sky; Luigi had taken Bowser's money and dumped it onto him.

Seeing that the backup tricks aren't working enough, Bowser declares he's gonna pull out "the big one": having some Mario clones beat him up. When Mario escapes, Luigi confronts him in the castle. Luigi offers a quiz; if Mario gets the answer wrong, Luigi will kill him, and if he answers correctly, he gets a head start. Mario ends up failing when the question is what 1+1 is. Before Luigi can shoot Mario, Toad interrupts. Not wanting to clean up Mario's organs, Toad suggests talking it out. The brothers talk for ages, and Toad sends them outside. Once outside, Mario tells Luigi that while Luigi can't star in Super Mario 64, he can be the star of gays. Luigi retaliates that Mario is an overweight big brother, causing another fight. Mario walks back in, claiming the police arrested Luigi for homosexuality and that the red spots on the door are just apple juice as he wonders where he'll hide the body.

Trivia[]

  • Mario still doesn't know what "1+1" sums to. As Mario can count just fine in If Mario was... In Baldi's Basics, this means that Mario learned at least some math in between episodes.
  • This is one of the few episodes in which Luigi is the villain.
