Mario School Club is the second episode of Season 10 and the five hundred and fifty-seventh overall to be uploaded on the Crossover Time & SMG4 channel.

Hal Monitor makes his debut. It was aired on January 25, 2020.

Synopsis[]

Mario and friends what to start a cool new club. But what will it be?

Plot[]

The video starts with Mario on a stage hugging a refrigerator. He acts like the fridge is alive and his friend. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang are watching the performance with varying reactions. Luigi demands to have the fridge back, but Mario refuses and resists. (Right before throwing it away anyway) Next up, Bob presents his "Dumpster" club, representing it with a banana. An exasperated SMG4 decides to leave the classroom.

Mario warns him about security since they are actually trespassing in the school. The resident security guard Mr. Hall Monitor notices SMG4 and approaches him menacingly. Terrified, SMG4 retreats back into the classroom and barricades the door. Tari questions Mario why he wants a club so badly in the first place. The latter replies because somebody didn't invite him to one. The plumber then decides to start a poetry club, only for him to be interrupted by Meggy as she expresses interest in helping him. Provided that she and the others could decide what the club should be about, that is.

The Karate Club[]

Meggy demonstrates how to beat a dummy (which gets sent flying out of the dojo and hits the Crazy Raisin Lady) using karate. However, when the others try to apply their karate skills, things don't go like what Meggy was hoping for; SMG4's hand explodes after doing a karate chop on his dummy, Luigi punches his dummy only for it to fall on him, Fishy Boopkins apologizes as he slaps his dummy to no avail, and Tari, being the pacifist that she is, hugs her dummy. Axol tries to draw an anime character for karate purposes, but is stopped by Meggy because he shouldn't be relying on others to fight for him. Shroomy fires some shotguns, but misses his dummy. (Also narrowly missing Meggy in the process) Bob cuts his dummy in half due to having blades for hands. Finally, Mario uses his Backwards Long Jump before launching himself outside, hitting the Crazy Raisin Lady a second time.

The Anime Club[]

Meggy freaks out about anime and its consequences due to the events of The Anime Arc, but is knocked aside by Fishy Boopkins. The Spike proceeds to show the club an anime DVD, whose translated title is My Gym Teacher is a Sexy Rhinoceros. As suggested, the "teacher" simply attacks students in a burning school gymnasium. But then Joker from Persona 5 sees the rhinoceros and falls in love with it. Everyone (except for Axol) reacts with revulsion to the anime. After Tari requests to watch something else, Boopkins changes the anime to Pokémon, which turns out to be a low-quality version of the actual TV show, with MS Paint drawings of Jessie and James taking Pikachu from Ash (who lets them). Finally fed up with all the terrible "anime", Mario destroys the TV much to the delight of everyone except Boopkins and Axol.

The Computer Club[]

SMG4 gives out instructions on how to build their own desktop computer, after which the gang attempts to create working computers themselves. Bob is dismayed that his computer is a Mac, Boopkins makes a sculpture out of computer parts. Tari's transforms into Optimus Prime upon being switched on, Shroomy sculpts his "computer" out of wood, and Meggy only uses it as a box to hide in. Finally, Mario takes a lot of random objects and tries to make a working computer out of them, but it ends up summoning a demon upon being turned on. After the ensuing chaos, Mr. Hall Monitor hears it from outside and approaches believing there may be illegal activity. Everyone stops in fright (including the demon) and pretends to teach math in order to reassure the guard that everything is fine, sparing them from getting in trouble at the school. The demon that Mario summoned claims that he's seen enough rubbish and goes back to the pits of Hell.

The Hunting Club[]

Shroomy instructs the gang as they prepare to shoot some animals, all while lying to Tari about the ability to hug with bullets, so she doesn't consider the task to be "terrible" for their targets. Shroomy, in the style of the Sniper from Team Fortress 2, drives an RV as Bob and Mario interrupt him, with the latter rubbing a gun against his back. The mushroom boy scout orders everyone to focus as he shoots some animals, causing a nervous Axol to write a note about avoiding his club leader in the future. Bob prepares to shoot, but on the order that any animal is a target (including those who behave like humans), eventually fires his rounds at Axol (Who is an axolotl). Mario eats his gun, but suffers internal injuries from the gun firing in his stomach, and Tari is shown chasing a zebra under the lie that she could use her gun to "hug" the animal. Luigi and Boopkins ride an elephant until their animal is shot down, while Meggy impresses Shroomy by not only shooting animals, but also breaking some of the plates on Don Resetti's "Plate and Pottery Store." Not wanting to be outdone by Meggy, the mushroom boy starts shooting more targets aggressively, until he unexpectedly hits a Lynel hiding behind a bush. The Lynel is enraged by the bullet as Shroomy notices everyone has already fled the area, upon which the latter is attacked by the former.

The Board Game Club[]

Tari chooses to play a game called "Ducks and Ladders" with the gang, which is basically snakes and ladders but with a pat on the back replacing any negative consequences. (or shortcuts from the ladders) However, Mario interrupts their no risk game by wanting to play "Call of Cthulhu," which reveals a living tentacle once the box is opened. The tentacle grabs Boopkins much to Tari's shock, but the others are now excited to play.

The Mystery Club[]

As the gang is naturally confused over what to do in Bob's club, Boopkins volunteers to be the first to find out. Bob gives him a mysterious box and tells him to open it. Upon the box opening, the clip suddenly stops and Bob tells the viewers that he has decided not to show what happened. Cut to the entire classroom being turned into a hellish cave with everyone unconscious. SMG4 walks in and horrified, turns to the camera and exclaims, "They'll never let us show that again!"

They then tried a bunch of other clubs, but they sucked at all of them[]

As everyone is lying down in defeat, SMG4 claims that all their ideas sucked while Meggy laments for an idea everyone could enjoy. Just then, Axol suggests a volleyball club, to which Bob objects to due to requiring more physical activity. Boopkins suggests a friendship club, upon which Mario calls him "gay".

Just then, Tari has an idea. She whispers to SMG4 who declares that idea is the best.

The Lazy Club[]

Apparently, Tari's club idea was agreed upon by everyone to be the Lazy Club, where all they do is to sleep. Just as Bob curses at Mr. Hall Monitor, he suddenly bursts through Peach's Castle's doors, telling Bob that his comment was "not nice". Everyone screams in terror as the video ends.
