"SHUT UP MARIO! This is Your fault! The one person I trusted most has left me behind for... SPAGHETTI! Now i've escaped! And it is time for... Everyone to suffer like I have! At the hands... Of the one thing YOU love the MOST!" |
” | —Marty, We Must Kill Mario |
Marty is a major antagonist in the SMG4 series, serving as the secondary antagonist of the PUZZLEVISION Saga, specifically as one of the three secondary antagonists (alongside Eldritch Goop and Oneshot Wren) of Season 13, the main antagonist of SMG4: War of the Fat Italians 2023, and one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Leggy) of Season 14.
He is an apparently sentient cardboard decoy made by Mario during the events of SMG4: Mario Is Fine. He made sporadic appearances in the following episodes where Mario used him to make pizzas, and was unpaid and granted no credit for his work, causing him to grow bitter toward his creator.
During the events of SMG4: You Made Mario Do This, he directly opposed the construction of SMG4's new castle in spite of his enslavement and refused to move for any reason in order to enact his wrath upon those who treated him badly. Ultimately, SMG4 realized that Marty was angry at being treated as a tool instead of a person and made amends to him by paying him back all of the money Mario took for himself and split the ownership of the new castle with him, making Marty the co-owner of The SMG4 Castle.
Marty, despite being granted co-ownership of the castle, became as the overarching antagonist of the blooper SMG4: Trust No One. He has instructed Mario to steal SMG3's notebook, for what he believes contains a recipe on baking the ultimate pizza, therefore he became the main antagonist of SMG4: War of the Fat Italians 2023 and the third and final secondary antagonist of Season 13 after Demonic Goop and Oneshot Wren.
In SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2023, Marty has been arrested and sent to prison after the recent events while Mario bailed out from prison by a spaghetti.
In We Must Kill Mario, he finally speaks and now is trying to get revenge on Mario and co for the plumber leaving him to rot in prison.
Personality[]
Marty may look like he's a shy and quiet character, but he goes a lot deeper than that, he's quite cunning and manipulative, he also shown to hate Mario when Mario escaped prison without him, after what was supposed to be a strong friendship between them.
History[]
SMG4: Mario Is Fine.[]
Marty was created as a result of Mario receiving enlightenment while being trapped in a hot tub, concluding that the best way to solve all his life problems was to create an OC version of himself. He placed Marty in front of his pizza shop in the Showgrounds, causing all the angry customers to leave Luigi alone and appreciate Marty for how sexy he is. After freeing Luigi, Mario then proceeds to make an OC version of him named Lui per his request. However, the video ends with a noticeably sinister closeup of Marty, implying that there is more to him than meets the eye.
SMG4: We Interrupt This Broadcast[]
Marty running Mario's Pizzeria would prove to be quite helpful, as it lead to Mario earning enough money for SMG4 to finally begin construction of the new castle, though Marty still showed signs of possibly sinister intent. Later, Mario gave him the responsibility to look after the Showgrounds while the cast went on vacation in the Wild West. Little do they know, that this trip would take a very different direction.
SMG4: You Made Mario Do This[]
While Marty was guarding the showgrounds, he disrupted construction of the new castle after the SMG4 crew got back from a horrifying experience by Meggy's Idol. Mario and SMG4 were completely confused by this, so they tried to remove him, but he wouldn't budge. This causes Mario, SMG4 and the others to try and attempt to get Marty out. Then, Swagmaster6969696969 and Chris Gordman arrive, and Mario launches a nuke to remove Marty. However, SMG4 got him to move by apologizing to him, and making it up to him by giving him the co-ownership of the castle. The nuke launched by Mario, Swag, and Chris comes after them, so SMG4 deflects it using Marty's body and then The Engineer tells everyone that the castle will be ready in two weeks.
SMG4: THE NEW CASTLE!![]
When construction of the castle is finally completed, Luigi and Tari stumble upon Marty, when it was revealed that Marty sleeps in the storage room of SMG4's castle. He falls, revealing a trapdoor to the basement with Depresso inside. During the castle tour, he is later seen playing chess with Depresso, implying that they have become roommates.
SMG4: Mario Goes Coo-Coo Crazy[]
With Mario being interested in Pokémon: Gotta Catch em’ Asses, he plays for a whole week or two. One of the shots has Marty getting close to the window, then ascending.
SMG4: SMG4 KIDS[]
Beeg SMG4 and Eggdog break down a wall to find Marty with hired Piantas with guns shooting Shroomy. Beeg SMG4 and Eggdog close the wall down after witnessing the event.
SMG4: Trust No One[]
Mario was caught stealing SMG3's Notebook, saying it contains secrets that could change his life for the better. In an ominous area, Mario hands the notebook over to an unidentified entity, who he refers to as his "King", revealing that he was ordered to steal it.
You’re Going to Help Me… (WOTFI 2023 TRAILER)[]
At the end of the trailer, Mario gives SMG3's notebook to his "King", who is revealed to be Marty, who wants it for the secret pizza sauce recipe contained within, then falls afterwards.
SMG4: War of the Fat Italians 2023[]
A new casino has just opened up named Casino Paisano, Marty is seen to be running the place as its owner, and has his own brand of merchandise. As SMG4 and SMG3 go for the notebook, they eventually reach Mario and Marty who then chase down SMG4 and SMG3 during the WOTFI rap, then ultimately ended up being arrested.
In prison, Mario asks Marty how he knew that SMG3's Notebook contained a secret pizza recipe, and Marty cuts to a flashback where Mr. Puzzles informed him through a fax machine that SMG3's notebook contains a secret recipe.
Mario's Plane Trip[]
Although Marty doesn't appear in this episode, an airline with his brand can be seen in the background, implying that Marty got released from jail and decided to start an airline company.
We Must Kill Mario[]
Karen and SMG4 are investigating a mass poisoning scheme on a tip from Karen's former boss seemingly incriminating Mario. They then meet Mario at the location Karen was given, who turns out to be innocent and thinks the cult poisoning spaghetti sauce there is just a harmless club. Karen then realizes that the spaghetti sauce being poisoned was the brand she had given her children. Karen, SMG4 and Mario then quickly drive back to her house where they find her kids at the dinner table still alive, having not yet eaten the spaghetti. However, they also find a familiar face with them: Marty. SMG4 and Mario are shocked to see him again, questioning how he escaped from prison. Karen also realizes that Marty was the terrorist her ex-boss was talking about instead of Mario. Marty, using a SGD to talk, explains his motive for poisoning spaghetti around the country: while in jail with Mario, the red-capped plumber saw a spaghetti dish nearby and phased through the jail cell to escape with it, leaving Marty behind. Enraged at losing his only friend to spaghetti, Marty escaped from jail and vowed to make everyone suffer from the one thing Mario loves the most. Soon after, some of the cultists storm Karen's house and attempt to take her and Mario out, but they both fight them off. However, Marty attempts to feed Karen's children the poisoned spaghetti. A frightened SMG4 manages to distract them by dancing like a clown along with Mario while Karen takes out the remaining henchmen. Karen is about to take Marty out too until he uses his rocket-powered wheelchair to escape before flying away in a helicopter, vowing to get revenge on Mario for the day he left him to rot in prison.
Mario Gets Stuck In Traffic[]
Marty is revealed to be the one responsible for the episode's events. In order to prevent Mario and Luigi from arriving at the Moustache Convention, he causes a Domain Expansion that traps everybody on the highway in an infinite loop so that he could have a chance to go to the convention and win the award for best moustache. He attempts to do so after they escape, only for Mario and SMG4 to beat him up. After which Mario throws him far and high into the sky, and explodes. With that, SMG4, Mario, and the others all went to the Moustache Convention now that all of their troubles with traffic are over.

Criminal Record[]
Marty's criminal record is more homicidal and more realistic than that of Mr. Puzzles who indirectly started some that were from his inventions and products. Some of these later crimes were possibly to kill Mario. Many of these crimes were mentioned by ??? when talking to Karen.
- Theft: Stole SMG3's Sussy Notebook with Mario in "Trust No One"
- Organized Crime: Engaged in Mafia-like activities in "War of the Fat Italians 2023"
- Brutal Acts: Committed selfish, brutal acts, including getting Shroomy gunned down by his goons after stealing his ice cream in "SMG4 KIDS" and letting Mario harm SMG4 and SMG3 to prevent them from retrieving SMG3's notebook in "War of the Fat Italians 2023"
- Prison breakout: Revealed to have broken out of prison in "We Must Kill Mario"
- Terrorism, Mass Destruction, Mass Poisoning: Involved in acts of terrorism in "We Must Kill Mario". Also supplying poisoned spaghetti sauce (SMARTY SPAGHETTI SAUCE), leading to deadly outbreaks.

- Terrorist Cults: Created a cult to do multiple illegal stunts and to create poisoned spaghetti sauce
- Trespassing: Entered Karen's house without permission in "We Must Kill Mario"
- Dark Magic/Kidnapping: In a Jujutsu Kaizen parody, he traps everybody in a Domain Expansion in "Mario Gets Stuck in Traffic"
Powers and Abilities[]
- Exceptional Intelligence: Marty is a cunning and intelligent crime lord. He orders Mario to steal SMG3's Notebook and keeps his suspicions down. He manages to trick SMG4 and SMG3 to the merch shop so that they could be killed if they do not have enough money.
- High-Invulnerability: He is incredibly durable and resilient as he tanks attacks that would have usually kill people and he even rises as a stone plinth after being sprayed by water.
- Domain Expansion: He has the powers to create a domain expansion, where he can trap people into endless loops. This is likely only for the Jujutsu Kaisen parody.
