McPatty's is a fast food chain that was created in 1940.
History[]
The business began In 1940 with two brothers named Timothy McPatty and John McPatty create a restaurant. They bought the first Patty Automat. Since it was very popular at the time a family opened up a second and third one up in Bikini Bottom and in Kingsville. Harold Blandy Sr. heard about McPatty's, so he decided to open locations all around the world. In 1955, Harold Blandy Sr. created the McPatty Corporation opening many locations and bought the company and the first location was sold to a british man. In 1963, the mascot Mac was replaced by Krusty McPatty played by Eugene H. Krabs. During the 1970s, the company had grown and was selling new menu items like the "McShake" and the "Big Pat". In 1980, the company had opened up their 10,000th location in New Kelp City. By 1989, the company was ranked the "Biggest Fast Food Chain Franchise Ever" by food critics. The company was sold to Howard Blandy Jr. after his father died of cancer. In 2015, the franchise has opened up more than 79,000 locations. The company has a training academy called "Patty University" which was originally created in the 1950s.
