Retro Land is segment (a) of the fifth episode from SpongeBob SquarePants (The Roblox Series) from Season 2015. In this episode, SpongeBob and Patrick visits a retro video game world to clear Super Mario Bros.

Plot[]
SpongeBob and Patrick are at Patrick's rock playing the original Super Mario Bros. game on Patrick's new NES console. Patrick explains SpongeBob the rules of the game and shows him how its done.
Patrick then plays the first level of the game and seems to have trouble with it. He touches a Goomba and loses a life and causes him to rage. SpongeBob then asks for a turn of the game to see if he could clear the stage.
SpongeBob then loses the last life of the game and gets a Game Over. Patrick then has an idea of them traveling inside the game to clear the level themselves, and SpongeBob found the idea go be amazing.
The two them jumps inside the television and are transported into the game. SpongeBob and Patrick admires the structure of the game and starts to play. Their first obstacle was a Goomba and didn't seem to look friendly. Patrick then calls it a muffin which angers the Goomba even more. He then warned SpongeBob that if he was called a muffin one last time, he would kill Patrick.
Patrick calls the Goomba a muffin yet again, and then loses a life. SpongeBob snaps at Patrick for losing his life and tells him that they can't be losing lives in a game like Super Mario Bros. Patrick then agrees not to take anymore risks and the two set off to finish the level.
Their next encounter was a Koopa Troopa where Patrick thought it was cute. Patrick's kind words angers the Koopa and tells them to move off. SpongeBob and Patrick takes the words as asked and moved on their way. At last, SpongeBob and Patrick has arrived at the end of the stage and are stopped by Mario & Luigi.
This surprises them very unexpectedly. Mario then explains to them that they are in their game and only him and Luigi could save the Princess and not them. SpongeBob and Patrick are then forced out of the game, leaving Mario and Luigi to finish off the level.
The episode ends with SpongeBob and Patrick burning Super Mario Bros. and the NES while singing Goodbye Super Mario Bros. and agrees to go the the arcade afterwards.
