SuperMemeGuardian4 (formerly known as SuperMarioGlitchy4 until WOTFI 2021) abbreviated as SMG4 or colloquially as Four, is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Mario), being the titular one, of the series of the same name.
He is Mario's guardian and closest ally (rival in the War of the Fat Italians series), the de-facto leader of his gang, and SMG3's former nemesis. Very passionate and protective of his work, he seems to play the sane man who is often annoyed or shocked by Mario's idiocy. Despite this, they are the two that began their group of friends that have grown over the years to include many different characters who have joined the duo in going on many zany adventures, and fighting great enemies in story arcs.
During the SMG4 Cosmology Lore, SMG4 began to wonder about his origins and following the invasion of the virus called "Zero" that sought after Mario, he began to unravel the truth behind his past and his purpose as a Super Meme Guardian. Unfortunately, following this, he was stuck fighting for his channel's existence against Nintendo in The Lawsuit Arc that temporarily resulted in the end of his gang, until Mario managed to undo the damage, with SMG4 being allowed to keep his channel on the condition that he become an original identity going forward.
Following the events of The Lawsuit Arc, SMG4 began to realize that SMG3 was surprisingly getting more popularity than him online due to his streams and collaborations. This caused SMG4 to become envious of his partner and ultimately caused him to seek the "perfect video" to make his channel the best it could be; resulting in him slowly becoming unstable due to repeated failure and lashing that anguish out on his own friends in a fit of rage that eventually turned to true madness and evilness on SMG4: MAR10 Day, where he attacked the guests and ruined the party, before locking himself in his room for the next 100 hours straight, where he began a livestream countdown to when the "perfect video" would finally be revealed.
After the clock reaches zero during the "........Announcement??????" video, Meggy and SMG3 entered the room to find that SMG4's condition has considerably worsened due to a possession that causes him to repeat chanting that "IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT" and over in an unnatural voice, where his psychotic aura begins manifestating eldritch symbols very akin to the ones that Niles was using towards the climax of the Genesis Arc.
The ultimate culmination of SMG4's insanity and efforts to create his ultimate video was him making a deal with an unknown entity that allowed him to create the video but at the cost of Peach's Castle being overtaken by a strange, eldritch substance that destroyed the castle but did manage to help SMG4 realize that everyone would still enjoy his content regardless of whether it was "perfect" or not, including from SMG3 who officially became part of the gang due to his involvement.
Now with his resolve clear once more, SMG4 sought to amend for his mistakes by building a new castle where he would be responsible for his own life from now on instead of having to piggyback off other's ideas/help. From there, he used his life savings to purchase an abandoned carnival called "The Showgrounds" and, over the course of several months, finally succeeding in creating The SMG4 Castle where he could begin a new era of videos and stories with the gang.
In the Remastered64 series, despite being redesigned, his old Mario Recolor model is still used for the purpose of remaking an old video in the past to match the events of said chosen video being remastered. Along providing voice lines from Luke Lerdwichagul as well like in the modern videos. These videos are just remakes of old videos, and fit into the canon when the original one took place.
In MEME HUNTERS and SMG4 and the Meme Factory, he starts to build his own factory by which, using Leggies, he creates more memes.
Roles[]
SMG4 is a major protagonist in Season 1, one of the two main protagonists (alongside Mario) of Seasons 2-8, the deuteragonist of The Waluigi Arc, a supporting character in The Rapper Bob Arc, one of the two tritagonists of Season 9, (alongside Luigi) a major character in The Anime Arc and supporting character in SMG4 Movie: Meggy's Destiny.
He is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Melony) of The SMG4 Cosmology Lore, serving as the deuteragonist of Season 10 and The YouTube Arc, the main protagonist of Season 11, SMG4 Movie: 10 Year Anniversary Special and the Genesis Arc, one of the three main protagonists (alongside Melony and Saiko Bichitaru) of Season 12, one of the four tritagonists (alongside SMG3, SMG1, and SMG2) of the Revelations Arc, the main protagonist of SMG4 Movie: REVELATIONS and one of the two main protagonists (alongside Mario) of The Lawsuit Arc.
After Cosmology Lore, he serves as one of the three main protagonists of Season 13 (alongside with Mario and SMG3), specifically being the former central antagonist turned overarching protagonist of SMG4 Movie: IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT, a supporting character in SMG4 Movie: WESTERN SPAGHETTI, the deuteragonist of SMG4: War of the Fat Italians 2023 and the main protagonist of Season 14 and the PUZZLEVISION saga.

Appearance[]
Up until the Lawsuit Arc SMG4 was like any SM64 machinimist, pretty much looking identical to Mario, including attire. However he wore a blue shirt and cap, and white overalls, but kept the signature white gloves and brown boots. The emblem on SMG4's cap was inconsistent, sometimes even changing in mid scene. It can either be a standard red "M" logo, a blue "M" to match the color of his cap, a blue "S" (for SMG4), a full blue "SMG4", a yellow dollar sign (during merch plugs), or simply the white SMG4 letters with no background (as seen on the SMG4 channel icon). With his N64 model, the emblem was missing altogether. He, however, has been noted to have different hair, which either differs between silver anime girl hair in pigtails or slick spiky black hair (in reference to Luke Lerdwichagul's hair).
In "official art", his head is often replaced by a representation of Luke due to avoid copyright strikes (which sometimes resembles Beeg SMG4's face, but he canonically has the same shape as Mario).
In his current form first shown in SMG4: If Mario Was In... Splatoon 3, which he later keeps after being changed by the permanent IP change contract in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2022, SMG4 is given an near-entirely new redesign which is almost similar in appearance to SMG4's official art design, which is heavily based on a cross between Luke Lerdwichagul and Stanley the Bugman from Donkey Kong 3 and the icon on his cap is now a blue "S" on a white background.
After losing his sanity from working on his "perfect video", his appearance changes. His hair is matted, and he isn’t wearing his cap. His eyes are now bloodshot and strained. A beard starts forming from his chin. His clothes are stained with mud.
Starting with It's Gotta Be Perfect..., the model would be updated to SMG4 Redesign+ (the chosen fan name due to a poll held in March). The new model has a bigger nose, blue pie eyes akin to his Mario recolor ones, a more bold and squarer S on his cap (with static glitch effects, referencing Glitch Productions and the current SMG4 logo introduced later), slightly bigger fingers, a more diamond shape on his overall buttons and emblem, and a more clean look overall with hair and cloth textures.
Personality[]
SMG4 is usually portrayed as either the only sane man at Peach's Castle or (in later seasons) as a stereotypical meme-loving addict. SMG4 is constantly annoyed with most of his friends' flaws and stupid behaviors; SMG4 dislikes Mario’s stupidity, Luigi's childishness, Toad's grumpiness, Peach Toadstool’s bossiness, Fishy Boopkins’ naiveté, and Bob Bobowski’s former selfishness (which he is ironically responsible for). Despite being normally intelligent and sensible, SMG4 still has his moments of stupidity. For example, in SMG4: The Mario Hustle, SMG4 hilariously somehow idiotically fell for one of Wario and Waluigi's scams by buying one million rocks just because they told him that his videos would be funnier due to the rocks (to which Mario mocked SMG4 for), and even asked for pineapple on a pizza, to which Bowser claimed he has a mental disability to the pizzeria, much to SMG4's sadness. He is very protective of his work, constantly refusing to play games with his friends to make bloopers. In fact, SMG4 goes so far to the point of beating his friends up should they touch his things, making him a completely antisocial and lazy person.
According to SMG4: SMG4's Origins, due to his naiveté, SMG4 was virtually careless and ignorant about the mental state of the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom, even tolerating Mario's stupidity. When he made his first video, SMG4 immediately became hooked to his newfound hobby and recorded everyone he came across, partially taming their stupidity in the process. When SMG4 realized that everyone was still stupid even though he got rid of the problem, SMG4 shrugged it off, thinking that there's nothing wrong with "a bit" of humor in everyone's lives.
He also tricks his friends to go through weird situations, either to teach them life lessons and make them smarter, or for his own benefit. SMG4 is also boastful and stubborn, such as mocking Mario for losing for the 20th time in a row in Super Smash each other in the ass Brothers, claiming he is horrible at gaming, showing him to be a sore loser. Despite his flaws, SMG4 nevertheless has friendly moments and will sometimes do actions for benevolent purposes.
However, his appearances in earlier episodes up until Season 2 are nothing like SMG4's modern days. He had a massive dislike of Mario, was somewhat racist (as shown in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Account Loss, where SMG4 claimed he dislikes Italians) and was just as immature as Mario. After Season 2, he became more mature but also quite vain. In Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Spaghetti Law., SMG4 lied to the judge about what caused a man to eat poisoned spaghetti (he put the poison into the spaghetti to prank Mario) out of fear of being arrested, was a meme dealer, and did other morally questionable choices. Additionally, SMG4 back then did not seem to care at all about the people who were supposed to be his friends. An example is in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: ੮Һ૯ ૯Ն૯౮ค੮૦Ր, where after Mario and Luigi were accidentally killed trying to escape an elevator, he didn't mourn them and instead made fun of the Mario Bros. on their funeral, showing that pre-Season 2 SMG4 was an uncaring jerk who greatly despised Mario, which ironically went against his role as Mario's guardian (though he didn't know about that at the time).
According on SMG4: Mario Does Literally Anything For Views, SMG4 keeps whining about subscribers, and primarily worried about keeping the high number of subscribers up ever since SMG4: The Day SMG4 Posted Cringe. This was also shown in SMG4: SMG4... Are You Ok?, where he was obsessed with gaining more popularity by enslaving innocent toads to do so. Despite SMG3 (surprisingly) wanting to help him rebound, he grew more obsessed with being better, and he thought to do so, he had to make the best, perfect video anyone has ever seen, this made more crazier than that time in SMG4: SMG4 Goes Insane. This insanity had risen more and more, and was primarily shown on MAR10 DAY, to the point he attacked the guests, ruined Mario's party, and lashed out on his friends, all to work on his video and shelter himself from the world once more.
However it was shown in the SMG4 Movie: IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT that the reason he needs his video to be perfect was because he had doubts within himself, knowing that one mistake could make him lose everything he had, this would make him desperate to the point he would order a "Magical Keyboard" that would corrupt him from the inside out. It took some empathy from the person anyone would least expect (SMG3) to turn him back to normal. SMG4 blamed himself of what happened so he was willing to pay the price of his desire, but a stubborn SMG3 begged to differ and helped him finish the video, which he dropped in the USB that contained it to save his and 3's life.
Criminal Record[]
- Meme Dealing and Illegal Meme Production: In SMG4: MarioTube 2, it was revealed that SMG4 was an illegal meme dealer, discovered by Luigi. He, however, was not arrested until SMG4: Mario Preschool. He then told Mario and Luigi to replicate the meme Luigi ate, causing most of the events in SMG4: Breaking Luigi.
- Using Confiscated Things and Hijacking: In Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Spaghetti Law., when spaghetti, Mario's favorite food, was banned from the Mushroom Kingdom, both him and SMG4 tried to bring it back by hijacking a truck filled with the dish.
- Stealing and Murder: In Super Mario 64 Bloopers: 0% of Spaghetti, he and Mario stole spaghetti from a guy and blew his house up, taking the man with it. As revealed in SMG4: SMG4's Origins, SMG4 stole his first laptop after discovering the power to create content, in which the Medic was unable to stop him because he became insane due to SMG4's Guardian Pod, but its possible that due to SMG4 helping Medic from being so stupid that he thanked him by letting SMG4 have the laptop.
- Arson: again in 0% of Spaghetti he exploded a guy’s house.
- Home invasion: In Super Mario 64 Bloopers: 0% of Spaghetti, he, along with Mario, broke into a guy's house.
- Assault: In SMG4: Mario's Late!, SMG4 attacked SMG3 for getting awarded and also for taunting him.
- Following the events of SMG4: MAR10 DAY, after being fed up with all the background racket, SMG4 goes ballistic and starts to attack most of his friends for disrupting his work on his perfect video.
- Illegal Operations: During The Anime Arc, he defected from the Anime Secret Service and became part of the Anime Cartel, a criminal organization that illegally smuggled anime into the Mushroom Kingdom following its banning. After Princess Peach lifted the ban, SMG4 was cleared of all charges.
- Stealing Money: He was willing to help Mario steal money to fix Peach's Castle in SM64 Guides: How to Get dem Coins., under the guise the Wallet Inspector.
- Attempted World Domination, Internet Takeover & Murder: This is, by far, SMG4's most severe crime to date. In SMG4: Lord Of The Memes, he created the Ultimate Meme, and whoever has it can control the Internet. When Bob Bobowski, Mario, Luigi, and Fishy Boopkins went to go destroy the USB drive containing the Ultimate Meme, SMG4 summoned his "Meme Wraiths" in an attempt to kill them and reclaim it.
- Demonic Rituals: Although not canon, during the epilogue of Mario Reacts to Spooky Memes but Dies halfway through after Mario died, SMG4 tried to resurrect his body using a satanic ritual.
- Extortion: On SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2018, he extorts Yoshi to do all of his taxes or else he would kill his child.
- Enslavement: In SMG4: SMG4... Are You Ok? he used countless Toads starting with Frankie to make him gameplay videos for his channel after it got to 5 subscribers. He later got exposed by SMG3, resulting in him getting cancelled. However, he did get uncancelled after making a funny video with SMG3.
- Manipulation: T.B.A
Powers and Abilities[]
Normal[]
- Superhuman Strength: SMG4 is almost as strong as Mario, being able to punch and throw people very far away, an example of which being at the end of the rap battle in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2020, where he kicked SMG3 into the street below so hard, it resulted in a crater. However, SMG4 cannot physically lift as many things as Mario can.
- Meme Bomb: In 2 MILLION FAN COLLABORATION SPECIAL! (SSENMODNAR), SMG4 created a gigantic ball of energy by gathering energy from internet memes (similar in concept to the Spirit Bomb technique from Dragon Ball). It had enough power to destroy the entire surrounding area of Peach's Castle, turning it into a charred wreck.
- Superhuman Durability: Like his friends, he has survived almost all of the abuse his enemies inflict him with. An example of this being in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2020, which had one the challenges being to pronounce Susan Wojcicki's last name. With each failure, SMG4 was horribly tortured, including being set on fire, crushed, beaten up, and blown to smithereens.
- Sub-Zero Temperature Tolerance: At the end of SMG4: 3 MILLION SUB FAN COLLABORATION! and SMG4: War On Beeg SMG4, he appeared in space (which has a fatal temperature) without any protective garments.
- Vacuum Adaption: As shown above, SMG4 shows no signs of pressure when in outer space.
- Memory Sharing: In SMG4: TRASH FRIENDS, he shows SMG3 how he lost the USB by shooting beams from his eyes into his partner’s, causing SMG3 to “remember” what happened, even though he wasn’t there at the time.
Insane[]
Meme Guardian[]
- Meme Manipulation: He can convert memes into energy, but only if he holds hands with SMG3. The energy can be used to work wonders such as creating magic bridges, firing projectiles that can hurt SMG0, even at full power, and making Mario grow. In SMG4 Doesn’t Meme For 1 Second, SMG4 is shown to use this power without SMG3.
- Anti-Meme Manipulation: Combined with SMG3, he can manipulate anti-memes for even greater power but this has the side effect of corrupting them with their negative power.
- Meme Taming: Turns out that making videos of memes will cause them to get calmer, but not completely. This also works on any character who has been corrupted by SMG4's Guardian Pod but their personality change will persist.
- Meme Machine: Near the end of SMG4 Movie: 10 Year Anniversary Special, him, Nintendofan997 and FightingMario54321 go on top of each other. With SMG4 holding a camera and FM (on the bottom) holding a microphone, they fight down the corrupted Internet Graveyard memes until they turn back to normal again. For some reason, it can also target anyone who isn't a meme and ends up transforming them into a nightmarish version of themselves.
Weaknesses[]
- Mario's Life: As Mario is his Avatar, SMG4's form would be severely damaged if he dies, which almost happened if SMG1 and SMG2 had not interfered to save Mario's life from SMG0.
- Ultimate Meme: In SMG4: Lord Of The Memes, he created the Ultimate Meme, and whoever has it can control the Internet.
- Anti-Meme Corruption: When manipulating the power of Anti-Memes, his personality becomes overtaken by power corruption, causing him to do reckless things and sing the praises of the very God Box they were trying to stop. He'll return to normal when he stops.
- Stress of Content Creation: As the owner and operator of the SMG4 YouTube channel, SMG4 gets very stressed when matters relating to the channel are on the line, leading him to irrational behavior when he's in a creative funk.
- Sensory Overload: In SMG4: THE NEW CASTLE!!, SMG4 gets overstimulated from loud music which made him trigger his sensory overload and he kicked goths out of his room for being too loud.
Trivia[]
- SMG4 hates spaghetti, which is referenced in SMG4: Mario University. Ironically, Luke Lerdwichagul likes spaghetti.
- The song that best described him the most is Justin Bieber's "Baby".
- SMG4 didn't like school, and dropped out of freshmen year. He admits this might reflect badly on him to some.
- His color code shares that of Stanley the Bugman from his Super Smash Bros. Melee trophy, a plumber alongside a Wario lookalike in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode, Plumber's Academy and the Player 4 skin in the minigame Mario Bros. Battle in the Super Mario Advance series. However, Luke recently stated in Hobo Bros that it's actually just random colors he chose.
- It was implied in several bloopers that SMG4 might actually be gay, or at least bisexual. This is most strongly evidenced by a major scene in Mushroom Wars: That Space Part 2, where he (playing Obi-Wan Kenobi) not only takes Mario (playing Luke Skywalker), Luigi (playing C3PO), and R2-D2 to a gay bar, but SMG4 is approached by a naked man saying that his "butt had gotten bigger since the last time he was there". However, in SM64: ṩṩἔᾗмὄḋᾗᾄʀ 6.64(100k special Qna Edition), he flat out denied that he was. As well as this, when SMG3 is preparing to kill him by dumping him into lava in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: War of the Fat Italians 2012, he complains that he never had true love with a girl, suggesting he's more interested in a straight relationship. While building his new room in the new castle, SMG3 asks him, “What will happen when you bring home a girl and/or boy?” which proves more that SMG4 isn’t straight. Also, in SnowTrapped, at around 6:50, It looks like SMG4 and SMG3 had sex.
- According to SMG4: Mario goes to DIDNEY WORL, SMG4's worst nightmare is his first-ever blooper, Super Mario 64 Bloopers Short: The Cake Is a Lie!.
- In Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Operation G.A.Y it was revealed that SMG4 was Chinese.
- SMG4 appears in the fan-made game Super Smash Bros. Lawl (not to be confused with the web series of the same name) as a playable character.
- MarioMario54321 made him a protagonist in his movie Back to the Fourth Dimension (The Rainbow Colonies).
- SMG4's favorite Mario game other than Super Mario 64 is Super Fat Mario as stated in his SM64: The SMG4 QNA (400K subs :D).
- He has been featured multiple times in the VS show Cartoon Fight Club. Some of SMG4 opponents have been SML Mario, Jeffy, ExplodingTNT, and TheOdd1sOut, and he has won against all of them effortlessly.
- Judging by the War Of The Fat Italians series' titles, he might be of Australian-Italian nationality. However, the title could also be referencing how SMG4 is a Mario Recolor, and that Mario is Italian.
- He has 2 Yoshi forms in super mario 64 bloopers: race for golden overalls (green and pink).
- SMG4 holds a degree in memes, starting from SMG4: Mario University.
- As revealed in SM64 Christmas 2014: The Bowser That Stole Christmas., he still believes in the Easter bunny.
- SMG4 is shown to listen to One Direction in times he's upset, namely their most popular song 'You Don't Know You're Beautiful', as shown in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: Smart(ass) Mario. Despite this, he'd mock Toad for the same thing when Toad accused him of being gay for missing Mario's moronic personality.
- SMG4 is shown to drink beer, as shown in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: ÐД gℓђ when he's working on his computer and carelessly accesses the virus malware from it's undebugged system, he mentions going to grab one, but wasn't able to due to Mario dumping several into his spaghetti. Some fans (namely OnyxKing63)[1] like to portray SMG4 as a lightweight because of this.
- SMG4 is overly obsessed with his work and may lash out at anyone who disrupts him. This attraction appears to be natural, as only mere minutes after being born, he grew an urge to create content after discovering the power of YouTube. This obsession has apparently come to the point where SMG4 made "baby videos" of his computer, much to his own dismay when he attempted to discover his past.
- Ironically, even though SMG4 cannot stand Mario's stupidity and constantly insults the plumber's intelligence, SMG4 is technically the one responsible for making Mario stupid, as SMG4's Guardian Pod corrupted him beyond relief and made him the opposite of his mainstream self. Possibly meaning that everyone (including him) somehow forgot everything that happened when SMG4 showed up. Additionally, SMG4's arrival technically made Princess Peach a naggy housewife-like figure (though compared to Mario, it was due to the stress rather than SMG4's USB), Luigi apparently bisexual, and Toad a hateful person. Thus, SMG4's arrival had a mostly negative effect on the Mushroom Kingdom.
- Despite this, SMG4's arrival also had a positive effect on the kingdom as Bowser eventually mellowed out and became friends with Mario (thus ending their rivalry and hatred of one another) and (possibly) created the Mario Recolors, which would later become his friends. Also, had Mario not become stupid, he would have not accidentally stumbled into other people who would later become friends with him.
- He is one of the few members of the gang to be confirmed to have canonical magical powers, alongside Melony. However, this is debatable due to SMG1 claiming that avatars have extraordinary abilities.
- Although he is considered a straight man to the group, he can have moments where he acts idiotic, as displayed in SMG4: The Mario Convention! and SMG4: The Day SMG4 Posted Cringe.
- Despite having been depicted as the same guy prior to the Genesis Arc, SMG4 as a character is NOT Luke Lerdwichagul, but rather a being with his voice born from a USB. This is further evidenced when the opening advertisement where Luke turns into SMG4 is deleted from SMG4: If Mario Was Smart.
- However, some events that have happened to Luke, such as getting hacked, are said to have happened to SMG4 as well.
- Luke uses SMG4 as his persona on some non-canon videos such as Announcing My Biggest Project Yet, My whole life has been leading up to this, and mostly, his storytime videos (this may show that SMG4 is canonically speaking on behalf of Luke even when he has no idea who Luke is and simply calls him "strangely familiar" and "the unfathomable being of the great beyond" by SMG2).
- SMG4 is also shown to have roughly worse video making and/or editing skills than Luke as shown in SMG4 Simulator and other videos (where he also seems to have his own channel despite shown to have Luke's channel due to a low level of views and likes).
- In numerous videos, he is shown to like pineapple pizza, which is known as being the worst pizza. In SMG4: Mario waits for pizza, Even the people who he orders the pizza from thinks he has a mental disability. In Mario Joins Discord, him mentioning pineapple pizza causes a full on flame war.
- SMG4 is the third character to get a redesign, with the previous ones being Meggy and Saiko. Additionally, he breaks the record for keeping his original appearance for the longest time, with a total of 11 years; with SMG3 being second (10 years, 11 months 1/2), Fishy Boopkins being third (6 years, 3 months), Bob being fourth (6 years, 1 month), Saiko being fifth (4 years) and Meggy being last place (1 year, 9-10 months).
- SMG4 (alongside SMG3, Fishy Boopkins and Meggy) is one of the few characters who has been redesigned more than once.
- Updated SMG4 Redesign, the S on his cap has static glitch effects which reference to Glitch Productions and represents that he was originally “Glitchy” because his original YouTube name is "SuperMarioGlitchy4"
- In the Nintendo canon, Mario is 5'1" (155 cm), and since SMG4 is the same height as Mario, that means he is also 5'1". However, Meggy is 5'2" (157.5 cm), and it has been proven many times that Mario and SMG4 are taller than Meggy (along with most of the other characters). This leaves SMG4's height currently unknown.
- The same can be said for SMG3, since all three are the same height.
- This also applies for his weight. Supposedly Mario, SMG4 and SMG3 should have the same weight, however SMG3 stated in We Don't Talk About What Happened In The Elevator that he thinks Mario is lighter than him.
- His Tarot Arcana is XII - The Hanged Man.
- Although his full name is technically "SuperMemeGuardian4", the shortened and mainly used form of his name "SMG4" is used on his identity card in SMG4: Mario Does His Laundry.
- On November 19, 2023 Broken Finger Paradise uploaded a short named "Nabbit's Bad Habbit" wich featured SMG4, it was made to thank him for featuring one of their animations in Mario Reacts To Nintendo Memes 15 ft. SMG3.
- It's confrimed by MediExcalibur2012 that SMG4 is currently the most hated character in the series due to Peach's Castle being destroyed by his fault and not saving Peach as well as other issues (like abusing Mario for petty reasons).
