The fifth season of the American animated television series Crossover Time, created by former marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg was announced on June 28, 2006, premiered on February 19, 2007, with the episodes "Rise and Shine," "Waiting," and "Sing a Song of Patrick." The whole season has aired 20 episodes. The season ended with "Goo Goo Gas," on July 19, 2009.
The season 5 DVDs were split by volume. The volume one DVD was released in Region 1 on September 4, 2007, the volume two DVD was released on November 18, 2008, and the season set was released entirely in Region 2 on November 16, 2009, and in Region 1 on November 13, 2012.
