Synopsis[]
Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to the Mario Documentary.
Plot[]
Presentation[]
The episode is presented in a style of a nature documentary focusing on a day in the life of Mario, overlaid with narration on the events which occur in a similar way to David Attenborough.
The Story[]
In the wild (Mario's house), Mario began his breakfast by going to the fridge for spaghetti but was shocked to find none. When Mario asked Luigi about it, (who is puzzled by the narration and camera watching them), he told him that he ate the last plate. An enraged Mario then beat him and tried to slice him with a chainsaw, until Luigi gave him a free spaghetti coupon that he could use to get one, causing Mario to instantly forgive him. As Mario went to the shopping mall to look for spaghetti, he found the last plate that was to be taken by the Old Man Hobo. Mario then fought for the spaghetti and punched the old man away, running away with the spaghetti.
At home, Mario was "mating" with the spaghetti, until the old man from before returned for the spaghetti he wanted. By showing his buff body, he did an impressive mating call to assert his dominance as the "alpha male", which impressed the spaghetti. Mario tried to follow suit, but was not strong enough, and he was kicked out of his own home, with the old man in possession of and mating with the spaghetti. Now homeless, he wandered around Mushroom City and tried to get shelter at a local Starbucks but was kicked out to the garbage dump by the barista named Karen. He got to a nearby local homeless shelter to get some food. But when he received an unknown piece of goop on his plate, he complained until he was kicked out of the shelter.
Mario then went to Peach's Castle for shelter and to freeload. He is separated from his 'child' (the TV remote) when it falls. Mario starts crying, angering Saiko by begging her to fetch the remote that was 2 feet away. Upstairs, Peach finds Mario freeloading and tries to force him to do some chores. In an attempt to escape, Mario tries to camouflage in the ground but is found by Peach. Forced to do the chores, he offloaded Peach's taxes to Yoshi, who burned them. When cleaning the couch, Mario decided that the only way out is to use a magical Nintendo Switch to flood the castle, therefore also cleaning it, further enraging Peach. Mario pulls out earplugs, places them in his ears and escapes the castle. As he walked in New Exton, the old man passes with his spaghetti in a convertible, giving him the finger. Not wanting to be sidelined for getting his spaghetti stolen, he decided to train himself to become the alpha male, even worshipping Melony to try to help himself (who joined in, thinking it was fun.)
With self-improvement not working, he went to his hotel to beg Meggy for help. She initially rejected his offer to beat the old man up, but relented when Mario became annoying to get her attention. Back at Mario's house, Mario and the old man were about to confront each other, and Mario sent out Meggy to kindly ask him to leave and give the house back to Mario. The arrogant old man then punched Meggy, angering her. She then unleashed her wrath at him by breaking his arm, twisting his nipples and sending him flying. Mario thanked Meggy, and she then advised Mario to not call her for help with anything again, before Mario went back into his house to mate with the spaghetti. Just before he did, Mario finally noticed SMG4 and David, who were filming the documentary, and proceeded to attack them.

Trivia[]
- This video was hinted at the beginning of SMG4: Mario has a BBQ but he's not invited.
- The entire episode is a parody of nature documentaries on animals.
- The narrator's name is likely referenced to David Attenborough.
- This is also supported through his commentary both sounding similar to David's, and being performed in a similar way. David was voiced by James Bailey doing an impression of Attenborough.
- The narrator's name is likely referenced to David Attenborough.
- This is the second documentary about Mario. The first one was in Season 3.
- The blooper has broken the fourth wall two times:
- Luigi has spotted both David and SMG4 recording the video.
- This is then followed by Mario discovering them at the end, leading to their death.
- This episode contains one of the most violent fights Meggy has been in, as she viciously breaks the arm and twists the nipples of the Old Man Hobo for simply punching her.
- Melony shows that she still has some aspects of her old, childish personality, not seen since SMG4: Studying for Exams...But you're friends with Mario. This is the first time she has demonstrated this personality while in her Fierce Deity form.

- Animal Planet/Discovery: The whole episode is based on the channels' documentaries from the broadcasts.
- The Tom and Jerry Show: This blooper shares similarities with the episode "Domestic Kingdom", where Tom's life is viewed in the form of a nature documentary & goes through painful yet hilarious scenarios, just like how Mario did.
