The Toad Resistance was a secret organization that appears in the SMG4 series and was founded by Toad.
Originally introduced as a group and a resistance movement of toads in Super Mario 64 Bloopers: A Fungus Among Us, their purpose is to eradicate every human in the Mushroom Kingdom, due to Toad's relationship with Mario.
This resulted in the group getting disbanded after Mario and Bowser fought against them.
Trivia[]
- The movement is an inspiration to the doomsday cults, which were a type of cults that believes in mass annihilation.
- Similar to the Anime Cartel and the Box Club they started out as allies until they ended up as enemies near the end of their respective arcs.
