- In addition to SMG4 gaining his current voice, more voice acting has been added overall.
- Mario, SMG4, Luigi, the Old Man Hobo, Toad, his friends, Sonic, and the Bob-omb Buddys have been given their Blender models that were introduced later.
- Luigi is in his original model instead of a Mario recolor of the original.
- The pipe Luigi enters in the beginning is now a rendered model.
- The animations of characters (particularly Mario) were updated to resemble modern videos.
- The scene where Toad and Peach play Super Smash Bros. has more dynamic camera angles, and its zoomed out to the point where the entire tv is visible at all times.
- Since the original song that was in the original episode is now copyright claimed, it has been replaced with a note about this and a parody cover sung by Toad instead. However, some YouTubers decide to edit the famous Chomp Chase scene to retain the original song, an example being linked here and to its full video.
- This is also true to the flying Gourmet Guy scene, which replaces the original song with a Shittyflute version.
- Even more, both of the music used in Luigi's stove sequence were replaced. The first song is a cover of "You Sexy Thing", while the second song, "AGEHA" by Ryu☆, is a replacement for "Running In The 90's" from Initial D.
- Chain Chomp's original line: "It's raping time!" was replaced by TF2 Heavy's phrase: "I am going to kill you!", reusing his voice clip.
- The Chain Chomp is notably more expressive, appearing angry while chasing Mario, facing the correct direction after talking to Sonic, and using an actual 3D model with animation while sleeping.
- When the chomp uses a pistol at 6:22 he shoots Eggman in the original, however in the remaster the model was changed to Dr. Robotnik
- The scene where SMG4 tells Mario not to go full-r*tard has been changed to him telling Mario not to go full-idiot.
- The scene where Mario panics near SMG4 uses more recent imagery to depict all the characters, and the troll face on Toads face is now a simple outline instead of a photoshop.
- In the beginning, there is a new background and animation, the mask that Mario wears in now obviously a mask, it is now more obvious that Mario stole a Koopa Troopa's shell (he is now seen wearing it through the Goomba mask), and when Mario does the Goomba mating dance, two Goombas are shown as exploding instead of one Goomba and the Koopa Troopa who Mario stole the shell from.
- The scene where Mario gets attacked by the Goomba horde now shows them all being angry.
- In the beginning, when Mario gets mad at SMG4 for letting him be attacked, SMG4 is seen lying against the wall while holding a Game Boy Advance. In the original, he was simply seen standing, facing away from Mario. The rest of the scene remains the same however, creating a minor inconsistency.
- Some of the swearing has been censored, though it is still audible.
- Most scenes have been extended and have less liner camera angles.
- When Mario gets hit by the chain chomp, it is no longer possible to see his heath meter.
- The scene where the Chain Chomp busts through the door to force SMG4 and Mario to flee to the castle's basement now has SMG4 in it; the original only had Mario.
- The scene where the chain chomp chases Mario in a Pac Man like arena now uses the 8 bit Super Mario Bros sprites with large eyes, rather than Mario using a Paper Mario sprite and SMG4 using a Super Mario World sprite like in the original.
- It also correctly depicts them getting stuck in a dead end.
- Gourmet Guy now waves to the audience before being launched in the cannon.
- When the Chain Chomp is blown out of the castle, the castle grounds are no longer shown on fire.
- the explosion is also notably more cartoony.
- Yellow Chain Chomp is now depicted with teeth.
- Luigi says "Hey guys. I'm not dead!" followed by him and Mario getting crushed by Gourmet Guy right before the outro, which was done because it was updated to its current form.
- When SMG4 asks Mario to get the spaghetti, Mario decides to spin jump and bang his head into the floor. In the original, he crouched instead.
- The emoticons no longer appear in the captions, due to SMG4 no longer being expressed by text only.
- Luigi’s lines when he first gets out of the pipe and talks to Mario are replaced by his Italian gibberish.
- Chain Chomp's uses an actual chain like current models in Super Mario.
- "B*tch" gets bleeped now unlike the original.
- The Bob-omb Buddy scene is different, with the cannon is closed before it is shot, the Bob-omb Buddy's are next to each other, and the clouds in the sky are more dense, move faster, and are more common.
- Text boxes are bolder, wider, centered, smaller, (depends on the editor) and progressive to dialogue, unlike the original.
- The "I Sit on you" song has been dubbed by TheInvertedShadow.[1]
- When Luigi turns off the stove, less debris falls, and as it became a running gag in later episodes, the old Hobo falls out of the tub.
- Text boxes are bolder, wider, centered, smaller, (depends on the editor) and progressive to dialogue, unlike the original.
Trivia[]
- This is the second Remastered64 episode, as well as the first of Season 14. It is also the second remake of Who let the Chomp out?, the first being the Re-blooper-ed version done by fans in 2020.
- The remake was made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original video.
- While the video uses SMG4's original design due to this chronologically predating The Lawsuit Arc, the Old Man Hobo use his 3D design.
- Peach reappears as her human form again since the first REMASTERED64 episode instead of her beast form, although Cursed Peach also appears referencing Peach's mutated form, and it is often speculated that her human form will reappear in the future REMASTERED64 episodes which is proven true in My First Ever Video Unnecessarily Remastered (and more!).
- The "Sit on you" song has been dubbed by TheInvertedShadow.[1]
- The voice clip Luigi says at the end is from Super Minecraft 64 Bloopers: Legend of Steve.
- This is the third time Luke Lerdwichagul voiced SMG4 in an version of Who Let The Chomp Out, as SMG4 was silent in the original. The first he did this was in the in REMAKING "Who Let The Chomp Out?" IN ONLY 30 MINUTES, and the second time was in Weegeepie's entry for Who Let The Chomp Out Re-bloopered. The REMASTERED64 version has SMG4 in a bit more of a enthusiastic voice.
- This is the only episode past the Perfect area that features Peach's Castle in it's original state as a set.
- This video was uploaded six years after SMG4: Mario's Dangerous Delivery and eleven years after Super Mario 64 Bloopers: S.M.G Club.
Errors[]
- From 6:31 to 6:54, the Bitch word was not censored, though the latter is likely intentional to keep the joke from being sabotaged.
