Wendy Blerble Corduroy is a major character in Disney's Gravity Falls franchise.
She is a tall high school girl who has a part-time job at Stan Pines' Mystery Shack. While she tends to be laid back and rather apathetic, she is genuinely kind-hearted and likes hanging out with the Pines twins, helping out in their adventures and bringing them around to have fun.
She was voiced by Linda Cardellini, who also played Velma Dinkley in the live-action Scooby-Doo 2002 movies, CJ in Regular Show and Lylla in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Personality[]
Wendy is a down-to-earth and passively snarky girl. She is introduced as Robbie's girlfriend and starts off as a crush for Dipper, which turned Robbie into not just a bully, but a love-rival. For the bulk of the series, Wendy appears oblivious of the crush. However, as addressed in the episode "Into the Bunker", it turned out Wendy was fully aware of Dipper's crush and was trying to avoid it with the belief it was puppy love he would eventually grow out of. Therefore, she had ignored Dipper to avoid the awkwardness of having to turn him down. She only works for Stan for money, but helps Dipper and Mabel out of sheer altruism.
Appearance[]
At the current age of 15, Wendy is a very tall and skinny high school student. She has fairly pale skin and freckles, green eyes, long auburn hair, and is usually seen wearing a tan-and-brown lumberjack hat, most likely because Manly Dan, her father, is a lumberjack. Her standard outfit is a jade plaid shirt with a white tank top underneath, black leggings, and muddy rain boots. She also wears gray/blue earrings and is occasionally seen with a name tag. One time in the episode The deep end, she wear a red one-piece swimsuit. She was also seen wearing a red plaid top instead of her usual jade plaid top on "Mabel's Guide To Color". Wendy has also been seen wearing cuffed shorts, a black tank top with a wolf on it with her jade plaid shirt tied around her waist in "The Last Mabelcorn". In "Weirdmageddon Part 1" she wears a white tank top with her flannel shirt tied around her waist, a strip of flannel fabric tied around her head, fingerless black gloves, and two black stripes painted under her eyes.

- Wendy is based on Alex Hirsh's first crush.
- As revealed in The Book of Bill, Wendy dreams about her mom nearly constantly, implying she misses her very much.
- She also has bad taste in music according to Dipper, which is shown in his search history from cut photos in the book.
- Wendy is apparently stronger than Stan. beating him thrice in arm wrestling. This has caused Stan to let her off any overtime work so long as she doesn't tell anybody about her wins.
- According to Alex Hirsch, Wendy was intended to be bisexual but thanks to network limits he couldn't show it on screen.
