Never! With an avatar's liver, I will be INVINCIBLE!!! |
” | —Wheeler refusing to return Mario's liver to Meggy Spletzer, SMG4: Mario Steals Your Liver |
Wheeler is a minor antagonist in the SMG4 series. He is Shroomy's estranged grandfather and a criminal who, despite his advanced age, has a habit for committing robberies.
Personality[]
Wheeler is a greedy, cold-hearted criminal willing to steal from anyone if it suits his needs. He is shown to be quite manipulative as he often tries to use his elderly status to convince others to just give him their money and belongings, while also lacks much care for his family as shown by the way he treats Shroomy.
However, he is also shown to be surprisingly knowledgeable of certain things, as he somehow knew about Mario being the avatar of their universe and realized he could have the powers of one by replacing Mario's liver with his own, but failed to realize they came with the price of Mario's insanity.
Appearance[]
He is an old anthropomorphic brown mushroom with one tooth, a mustache, dark brown mushroom cap with light brown bits on it, wearing broken glasses with a bandage/plaster matched with a dirty white and greenish turquoise jumper and a leg cast on his right. He also has a blue wheelchair shaped like a literal chair (still including the wheelchair handles) only with two wheels, a button on the right arm of the chair to stick out two double barrel shotguns, and decorated with flames. The wheelchair also has a blood transfusion on the back of it. He usually wields a revolver in his hand.
Criminal Record[]
Attempted Robbery: Wheeler has in nearly all of his appearances committed this crime, the only exception currently is SMG4: Mario Steals Your Liver.
Car Theft: In SMG4: Mario Gets His PINGAS Stuck In Car Door, Wheeler steals Mario's car to escape after a bank heist.
Organ Trade: In SMG4: Mario Steals Your Liver, Wheeler illegally purchased Mario's liver from Bob.
Powers[]
Wheelchair proficiency: Wheeler has demonstrated the ability to move surprisingly quickly and have great control of his movements despite being stuck in a wheelchair.
High Technical Skills: In SMG4: Mario Steals Your Liver, Wheeler's wheelchair is shown to have many different types of tools and weaponry built into it such as a grappling hook and a pair of rapidly firing guns on the front. It is unknown if Wheeler made his wheelchair himself or if he bought/stole it from someone else.
Marksmanship: Wheeler is shown handling a handgun in several of his appearance relatively accurately.
Temporary[]
All of Mario's abilities: In SMG4: Mario Steals Your Liver after consuming Mario's liver Wheeler seemed to gain all of his abilities including Mario's avatar abilities. It can be assumed that after Mario reclaimed his liver from Wheeler he lost these abilities.
Trivia[]
- Although he didn’t reappear in SMG4: Goodbye, SMG4 or SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2022, it can assume that he was brought back offscreen after the trial.
- This turns out to be true when he appeared in SMG4: How To Train Your Mario.
- Wheeler seems to care little for his grandson, Shroomy.
- Wheeler is Shroomy's only relative who is a mushroom humanoid.
- Like Shroomy, his name reflects a key characteristic of his, that being that he is wheelchair-bound.
- Both Wheeler and his grandson Shroomy use a large arsenal of weaponry and guns. This seems to run in the family.
- Wheeler is the second character to target Mario because he is an avatar, the first being Niles. However, while Niles sought Mario's status as an avatar to recreate the Mage universe, Wheeler simply sought out his liver to gain Mario's powers as an avatar.
- Wheeler's name has not been said aloud by any other character than himself.
GMOD model[]
[Unreleased]
Although his official model remains unreleased, two fan made recreations of Wheeler exist on the Steam workshop
Due to many Nintendo-related addons being removed on the GMOD workshop by Nintendo, some of or all the models below might be unavailable or have missing textures. If this is the case, please click on the [download] button next to the hypertext if included (note that the model could still have missing textures, so make sure to download all the needed models). You can also check the "GMOD Pretendo's ARCHIVE" Discord server, which archives Nintendo and non-Nintendo addons and also allows you to save addons yourself. (The hyperlink being underlined means that the addon it link to have missing textures.) (Even if the model is still currently available on the workshop, this template and the [download] button can be added in case it eventually gets deleted, so please don't remove it.) |
