William Afton, commonly known as the Purple Guy or Purple Man, is the main antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. His first appearance dates all the way back in Five Nights at Freddy's 2, to which he would later return in Five Nights at Freddy's 3. Known for murdering exactly 15 children separately in groups of 5, he'd later become a villain of SMG4's series.
History[]
William Afton makes his first appearance in Ssenmodnar 10. He begins to sing the "Purple Song" until Chica punches him off the stage, telling him to shut up.
William Afton is prominently featured as one of R64: Return to Freddy's Spaghettria's main antagonists, the other being the Puppet. He attacked Mario in several minigames before appearing in the real world. William attempts to use the Toy animatronics as slaves to kill Mario. The old animatronics start to fight the new ones; however, William disables them before confronting Mario and preparing to kill him. William then fights with the Puppet over who gets to kill Mario. Mario converts Mangle into the missile-shooting "Mangle Lawnchair", and chases the two villains. Mario then confronts William before the Puppet punches him into the present box, which explodes moments later. Mario then kills William and the Puppet.
William once again plays a major role in R64: Revenge of Freddy's Spaghettria, in which he controls the phantom animatronics and turns Mario into Animatronic Mario. He is scared out of his office into the old pizzeria when he turns off Springtrap. While he at first taunts Mario and Luigi, he later dies inside the suit.
He makes a cameo as one of the bodies Mario searches, in SMG4: Mario Battle Royale.
He makes a reappearance in SMG4: Freddy's Ultimate Custom Spaghetteria, where SMG4, driven mad from his fans constantly begging him to make another FNaF video after the release of Ultimate Custom Night, buys an entire set of animatronics from him.
He later makes a reappearance in SMG4: Mario's Internet Safety during Stranger Dangers segment.
In SMG4: Five Nights At Freddy's Games Be Like..., he's seen in the FNAF 2 location, where a child bumps into him. After the child says he looks funny and laughs, Purple Guy tells him he knows where he lives, and what he does, and every member of his family, before being cut off to the next part. During a FNAF 3 segment, he tells Freddy he's given up with animatronics, and is moving to the bigger market. After Freddy asks him, he reveals his plan to start producing ANIME products, before then shooting him to death. He also appears (again...) in another segment, where it re-tells his death during one of the mini-games. He makes a slight cameo behind some boxes in the first FNAF 6 segment, and then having one of his own "homemade" songs played by SMG4. In the 2nd UCN segment, he appears in his office, going through agony, and then sleeping. In a FNAF: Security Breach segment, he throws Frankie into a Candy Van, to which he drives away with.
