The YouTube Rangers (commonly abbreviated as YTR) It is a defunct group founded by Starman3 In 2008, he became quite well-known, mainly due to his appearances, both with the group and its members, on the channel SMG4.
Background History[]
In 2008, machinimist Starman3 decided to form a group bringing several other blooper makers and such together. The group hit a boom of popularity after recruitment was opened to ROBLOX. Since then, many famous YouTubers (including SuperMarioGlitchy4, and MarioMario54321) joined.
However, in 2014, possibly due to internal "drama", external conspiracies, and controversies around Starman3, and other related conflicts; The group has been in decline ever since, the group experienced a lot of fighting which caused many members to leave.
In its final years, the group still existed on Discord and some smaller social media platforms. It was reported that the group was completely disbanded in September 2025.
Notable Members[]
NOTE: Almost all of the listed members (except Starman3, who was the leader) left the group before its closure.
- Starman3 - One of SMG4's former friends and a popular machinimist. One odd thing about him is that he doesn't even get introduced to the characters, everyone just knows who he is. After various controversies his real-life counterpart caused, he has stopped making appearances in SMG4's videos in 2014. He closed the group.
- MarioMario54321 - A machinimist who made Super Mario 64 Bloopers before SMG4 did and is really popular. He tends to show up in cameos in Ssenmodnar videos the most with a running gag being him going up against a serious enemy before the situation is handled easily or something interrupts the fight. - Roprinplup14 - Also known as Enzo. He was originally one of SMG4's friends. However, after Mario ruined his birthday party, he turned evil and went on a killing spree with the intent to murder Mario and his friends. He later celebrated Christmas with Mario and co. after receiving a gift. Dropped out
